LILITH
"Your timing is impeccable," I heard Julian sarcastically greet whoever disrupted the little moment we were about to share.
But no response came to the sarcasm. My wolf stirred anxiously and I felt an overpowering presence near me. I feared that I knew the presence — not personally but I could feel the ranking of the wolf about to step foot into this apartment. The earthy, musky scent only cemented that it was a werewolf.
Julian strolled in, hands in the pockets of his sweatpants. He had a sheepish smile tugging at his lips. My eyes moved from him to the more domineering presence that stood behind him. The man was tall and muscular — filling out his silk black button-down. I quickly did a sweep of him, finding him in black dress slacks that hugged his thighs and loafers.
His face was hard, long hair tied into a top knot and a neatly trimmed beard framing his lower face.
