Bonus 2
The plane landed and it took everything in me to prevent myself from squealing like a child. I couldn't believe that I was here again. I was less than an hour away from seeing Delora. I missed her so much. FaceTiming and constantly talking weren't enough. I needed to see her.
“Somebody seems ecstatic.” I could feel the grin in Xander’s voice.
“I can't believe that I'm here! It's been so long since I last saw her,” I told him. I wished I could tell her what I was, so she would be able to visit me in California, but I couldn't do that. I was afraid of the way she might react. Some things were better left unsaid.
The two of us got up once we were allowed to leave the plane. Delora was waiting for us at the airport, but we weren't going to her apartment. I decided to make my friend experience the lush life she never got to have. Since Xander and I were going to stay at a seven-star hotel for two weeks, I booked a room for her too.
