Chapter. 3

Finally! Night over, all rituals and reception are done, But all of a sudden he starts acting weird, kind of trying his best ignoring me, On the dancer's floor which is supposed to be our first dance as a couple he looks anywhere but me, I feel little uneasy, But anyway it's much better than his rude behavior.

Sitting on the back seat of his SUV, we are going to his house, We were on the road for almost fifteen minutes but neither of us uttered even a single word. The only sound I could hear of wind blowing through the car's windshield. We're driving on an open road with only a few cars passing by, so the silence was so deafening.  

I side glance at him, only to saw him leaned back on his seat with eyes closed and a little frown on his handsome face. I get back to work which I doing before, which is looking out of windows watching silent night, I smile and whisper to myself 'I am free'.

We're in front of a Big House sorry its Mansion, it's had a combination with mate black and grey, 'it's beautiful' I muttered to myself, Black is my favorite color that's why it attracts me more. 

The driver came out and open our doors, after a little bit of struggle I finally got out of the car, All thanks to my wedding gown, But till then he is already gone inside his mansion. I slowly and steadily walk inside because I don't want to fall and break my pretty face in these huge heels of mine.

When I got inside, I stand in awe stuck because he has a really good taste of the interior, it carried a warm and welcome feeling.

Then I look at him leaning over the sofa, only to caught him staring at me,

"Go straight upstairs take a right turn, 2nd room is yours"

I simply nodded, and start moving straight upstairs because I can now feel the tiredness all over my body, I heard Daniel call my name 'Zoya', I turn towards him so I am now facing him.

"What?" I asked as my eyes drifting off because of drowsiness.

" I know my Mamma already explained this to you, but let me add something."

I raised my eyebrow and motion him to continue,

"You're not allowed to ask or interfere in my personal life as I won't ask anything about you. You can do whatever you want and I don't care." 

After few seconds when he doesn't get any response from me,

"Understand," he stated with his dangerous aura.

"Yes! Mr. Ru-Grey" I respond quickly and walk away towards my room with a heavy sigh,

Next day.....

Golden rays of sunlight flashing through the window woke me up from my beauty sleep, 'Good morning, Zoe let's start a new day, a carefree day' I muttered with a smile creep at myself.

I did my morning business, take a warm and relax bath, wrapping a towel around my body, I move into the closet, I was shocked by the scene in front of me, the closet is full of female clothes and accessories and the middle of it lay my tiny bag, there is a small note stick on my right-hand side, 'Small gift for my lovely daughter-in-law from Mamma,' I am overwhelmed by her care,

Opening my luggage wearing my favorite black sleeveless crop top with strap and blue jeans I made my way downstairs, entering the kitchen I saw a lady in her early forty preparing breakfast.

"Uhmm, Hello" I greet her, she turns back to face me,

"Oh hello Mrs. Grey myself Mrs. Marry johnson head maid of this house, if you need anything to can tell me," she said with a warming smile.

"Oh! Thanks, but please call me 'Zoya', Can I help you with preparing breakfast" I asked hopefully,

"No, No, No, why bother yourself"

"Nothing is bothering in that and I love to cook, so I am helping you out and that's final," I said with my playful authority voice, And she agreed without argue, see it's work.

We carry a small conversation during the preparation of breakfast, I got to know she lives here with her daughter 'lily' which is the same age as mine, she is doing a master in college under Daniel instructions, After Mr. Johnson death Daniel helps them, providing them all necessary and lily is like his little sister which he never has,

'oh, so Mr. Rude is only rude with you' my subconscious mocks, is it necessary for her to speak every time, I mentally roll my eyes.

After preparing breakfast, I help Mrs. Johnson to set the dining table, then Mr. Rude decided to show up, He is wearing a grey suit with a white shirt which perfectly fits his body, 

I guess he takes his name seriously like, I mean all grey last name, eyes, and now suit.

He caught me checking him out, I just look away blush with embarrassment, why do I always make myself embarrassed in front of him I mentally slap myself, he made an annoyed boring face as always not before checking me out from an upside-down.

He sat on the head of the dining table, I sat right next to him on the left side, we silently eat our breakfast.

After finishing our breakfast, he wipes his mouth, And pull out a black card from his suit and shift it to my side.

"Here, it's had 1 million limits if you want you can extend it"

I was shocked is an understatement, I just look at him with wide eyes, I couldn't get any words out of my mouth, Is he crazy or what, He directly standup and was ready to move out.

"I am getting late," he announced, just like that he walkway,

See I told you she is after my money when I shift my card towards her, that look in her bright shining eyes with shock, I am sure she is very excited about knowing the amount the card carries, I am sure she doesn't even see such a huge amount in her life, bloody gold digger.

After recovery from my shock, I took the card and run towards him to give it back to him, I can't take this, they had already given me so much that I don't deserve it, But when I reached the porch he had already driven away. 

'What's wrong with Mr. Rude, at least heard me out once'
