Chapter Fifty Three: War Begins
"This place is very distant. Why have you summoned us?"
In a hostel, Elize was there and she was talking to the reporter and his cameraman in the room. Elize chose this place as a safe and unsuspecting place.
"We're safe here," said Elize.
"What is it you need?" asked the journalist.
"Dark Phoenix kidnapped my best friend and she was murdered. You are the one who revealed the news about her," says Elize.
"Lindsey..." told the journalist.
"After that, there was the explosion in the building where my father and two brothers live. It was on the news earlier," Elize said.
"Didn't a terrorist blast the building?" asked the cameraman.
"No. Then they took Gavin Elizalde away," Elize said. "Now his parents are going to save him in a way I don't know about and I'm going to save him."

Elize ran fast and hurried to Sparrow. All her attacks were blocked and she knew Sparrow would do dirty tricks. Sparrow needed to hit her injury again to win. This will slow her down. Sparrow's forehead pleated that whenever he planned to strike Elize's wound there was some sort of rebounding energy on his attack. "What..." asked Sparrow in shock as he stared at Elize. "I know you're going to do that. That's why you hurt me and suddenly challenged me to fight because you knew I didn't have anything against you because of my injury, right, Sparrow" Elize said. Sparrow smirked. "Yeah, I admit, this is my trick. I know how good you are at everything, Rogue. Except for one thing." "You admit you're a loose end, Sparrow," said Elize. "Not yet, Rogue," said Sparrow. Sparrow took a knife and it was clear from his face that he took the fight seriously. He won't let Rogue beat him again, even though she's not in the organization anymore

Elize and Gavin are leaving. There were more shooters than Elize knew wasn't Dark Phoenix. "They don't belong to Dark Phoenix," said Elize. "Well, who are these people?" asked Gavin. "Who else?" replied Elize. Elize pulled Gavin inside the large warehouse. Elize was looking for weapons and anything they might use. Gavin did as well. Elize pulled Gavin back of that big steel box. "They are too many," Gavin said. "What sort of person are they? What do they think of me, Superwoman?" Elize said gently. "They've got lots of henchmen." "What do you mean? Have you fought a lot before?" Gavin asked, who was shocked. "Ah, not too much. There are only a few," Elize stated. Then a bullet landed on the steel box where Elize and Gavin were hiding. "Excuse me." Elize, Dark and Lucian took a look. Through the mop, the man struck Elize. Even if Lucian and Dark can do anything they can't interfere with. The man can't see them. The man placed Elize in a wheelchair and took her out to the hospital. Elize got a pain in her neck. But she could not touch her neck because both her hands and feet were tied. While travelling, they continue to talk. East was driving that moment. They travelled for approximately 1 hour when they arrived in front of the hospital. Before Elize came down, she turned to East first. East tells her to come with him and hide for their safety. Like Elize, Dark Phoenix is also looking for East. East's life was also at risk on a number of occasions after what Dark Phoenix did. Unbeknownst to Elize, East helped save Lindsey. However, with the number of minions of Dark Phoenix and Falcon, he fails. East was planning on killing Gavin, but Sparrow's group preceded him. Gavin was abducted from a hostel in Tagaytay and he saw him. East follows Sparrow's group to find out where he will take Gavin. When he saw how worried and scared Elize's face was when she couldn't reach Gavin at the inn, it was as if his heart was broken. But he loves Elize so much, he can't go on. He did the same thing while Elize saved Lindsey. He went after Elize, so he saw her on the road.

From in front of her Lucian emerged. Elize could see no emotion on his face. It's too far from from his always visible expression, the smiling one. Elize felt very nervous. Lucian did not answer. Her tears began to flow. The girl who was sitting and looking at the two of them was staring. Although Lucian cannot be seen by others, the innocent child can see him. The girl blinked a few times when she saw Lucian, she also saw his wings. Elize looked away. "Someone's calling me." Elize said to Lucian. "Why don't you find out who?" Lucian asked. Elize frowned. Elize is making his way to the football field from the university field. Graduation day and plenty of students enter the auditorium. Elize has lots of time before the program starts. Elize stood in front of the football field while she remembered when she and Lindsey had each other. Her tears flowed out of these memories. Elize was distracted when he saw the loud group in the distance. It was the basketball team that Lucian was with. Elize hadn't seen Lucian in a long time, the last time they met was at the hospital and two years later. She smiled when she saw Lucian. Lucian didn't see him, so she reached out to him immediately. "Lucian ..." Elize said. Lucian turned around when he saw her and he smiled. Even his companions gazed upon Elize. "You got a girlfriend, man?"
