Not everything happens according to you.

Finally, the day came the day in which I can feel different the day in which I can be enjoying specialities which normally people do of my age, The day which needs a lot of courageous work.

I sighed as I woke up while thinking these things don't know what'll be going to happen today, my alarm alarmed me that I don't have enough time to think about these things. So, I got up and took the quickest shower although I almost sleep for eight hours I feel quite exhausted.

I entered the school building with my bag hoisted on my shoulder. I don't know but I have a feeling that today is something different something is not regular then I got it school hallway is almost empty most of the students are not here. It only meant that I'm late, I rushed towards my first class which happens to be Algebra all seats were filled only one seat is empty can you guess whose side seat is empty? It's Cole's

"Hurry up girl you're already late be seated " Ms Thompson's voice echoed the whole room.

Okay just ignore him it's not that difficult right?

I Hurried towards the seat which is next to him everyone's eye is watching my every move like I'm the only source of water in dessert, but I just ignored them when I was seated Cole narrowed his eyes.

"You're fifteen minutes to solve this question, Now hurry up. "Ms Thompson demanded.

I know how to solve this question. So, I easily solved it and raised my hand

"Very good Amanda. "

I put a smile on my face and nodded my head.

"Can you solve it? " Cole asked in a whisper while showing his notebook to me at first I ignored him but he started poking my shoulders

"Yeah, I can that's why I raised my hand, by the way, you can solve it too. " I muttered

"Really, how? "

"By paying attention simple" I replied with a smirk

"Will you help me? " he rephrased

"Nope" I sighed.

"Come on you're good at it ."

"Oh but last time I checked one shitpant said to me that I have a really small brain I don't have a brain at all. "

"My pants are gorgeous if you want you can check it, " he replied with a smirk. Before I can punch him in his face.

"Amanda and Cole pay attention, and this a warning, " Ms Thompson said in her strict tone.

After two minutes again he started poking my shoulder

"May you help me? " he rephrased.

I sighed ."you don't quit do you? "

He shook his head grinning widely.

"Nope"

I took the notebook that he was holding out towards me. He watched as I worked out the question, explaining it to him hoping that he"all understood it.

"Got it? " I asked, in reply, he just nodded and mom said that he's a good guy he even didn't thank me huh.

I was in the cafeteria with my sandwich and coffee waiting for Vess to arrive when out of nowhere Veronica Stafford appeared in the cafeteria with her two bimbos, but she's not going to create another trouble right I should ignore her and focus only on the deliciously grilled sandwich which is right in front of me. I was just enjoying my lunch

"You think you can take my place? " ladies and gentlemen here come the shit talk. When Veronica started yelling at me And I'm just staring at her half of my sandwich was hanging from my mouth.

"What? " I muttered.

"Don't be smart you know what I'm talking about and you're going to pay for it "

she declared as she owns the whole earth or universe my ass and what is she even talking about? I don't even understand.

"Leave her alone. " Vess came holding her plate.

Then she gives me a very strange look while muttering or I should say cursing me and walked away like she was on the ramp.

"What happened what she said? " Vess whispered.

"She's an idiot I know that from starting but now she became frustrating right I don't understand why she blames me for what happens in her life. " I sighed as I told her.

"Oh, and by the way, Cole broke up with her, " she muttered.

"What? How? When? Tell me everything! " I whinnied.

"You know he never dated anyone he just hooks up with girls like the way he's Playboy but with Veronica, they were together for almost one week although he didn't declare that she is his girlfriend but what do you expect from Veronica she spread a rumour that she and Cole were dating which is not true that what happened with her. "

she tells me as she's a saint and I just stare at her with confusion all over my face.

"But why she's blaming me? " I uttered.

"She always blames others she is a psycho bitch I'm telling you and forget about her, you're for today's big bash? " she asked.

"Umm," I sighed.

"I" ll come to your place around five with our dresses so, we can get ready deal?. " she uttered.

"Yeah, deal!" I muttered.

After school, I came back home, and found out mom is not here all over were darkness only a single light in the kitchen illuminating the house. I sighed as I found out I'm alone here anyway it doesn't matter that much when you have to spend most of your time alone in your home I moved towards the refrigerator to grab a bottle of water when my eyes landed on a note which was hanging around on the refrigerator,

" honey, some urgent work has come. I"ll be out for two days to make sure you didn't miss your school and don't do something illegal in my absences. P.S. take care."

Okay, so she again has gone for her work at least she can call me but no she always make a note, ughh and after all this, she's making sure that I"ll go to school regularly, seriously my life is miserable.

I went upstairs towards my room while thinking I'm all alone, mom always leaves me alone when she goes to her work and my dad huh maybe he didn't even love me that's why he abandoned me, I hate that man for making my mom like this and to making me feel suffer. Whenever I find him I"ll punch him in his face, I pledged to myself. I carried my clothes, towel and went towards the washroom to take a shower, In the shower, I couldn't control myself and started crying at least I can hide these tears from the world. After a shower, I fell asleep.

Did you notice that sometimes after a shower you can get the most peaceful sleep in the world, well it happens to me because I'm in my dreamland flying like a bird when some rocks hit me?

'Ughh' again it happened again and again! What if it happening in real.

Come on open your eyes

A pebble of rock hits me directly at my forehead

"Ouch" where it is coming from? I noticed my room's window glass was broken. I got up and moved towards the window only to find out who the hell is throwing.

"Oh finally! Thank god you're awake now open the god damn door" Vess yelled.

What just happened? What is the time as I checked it's been six in the evening oh gosh! Did I sleep for four hours! 'I mentally slapped myself'

I rushed downstairs to open the god damn door to welcome my dear friend.

"Amanda what the hell was you doing if we didn't speed up we"ll get late now hurry up. "

she rushed and went to my room grabbing me by my side.

"What? " I asked in confusion.

"Don't tell you to forget that we're going to party, " she demanded.

"No, I remember that" I lied. In reality, I almost forget about it, I sighed.

"Come on hurry up we don't have enough time so, can we discuss it after-party? " she asked

"Yeah" I muttered.

She asked me to sit in front of the mirror then she started doing my hair. At first, she combed it very gently then she made curls at the end of it, and spread some spray so, that they didn't mess up. Then she started doing my makeup and I don't know what is she applying to my face because she asked me to shut up and closed my eyes. She moved on eye section department applied eyeliner and mascara and my eyes were still closed, huh who made these things? This is so difficult seriously! I sighed after almost one hour everything is almost done at the end she put lipstick on my lips and my lips were still closed.

Although my makeup and hair were done my eyes were still closed why? Because my best friend asked to retain them while she's putting on her makeup.

Vanessa is a makeup expert that's why she did her makeup in less than twenty minutes her hair was already done we she came home, now I can open my eyes and see my dress and myself. I opened my eyes but can't see because she was standing in front of a mirror.

"Vess step aside at least let me look'' I muttered.

"No, first you put your dress" she declared.

It's a Red colour dress it is folded so, I was just going to look at it in its full appearance when she pushed me towards the washroom and asked to keep it quick. I didn't have time to think or do something as I know about dresses so, I wore it without even thinking, when I came back Vess was already dressed she was looking beautiful in the green dress her eyes were matching with that colour her pale skin was now glorifying her beauty her blonde hair was looking elegant in her straight style and her dress well it was off the shoulder just like mine gown type the whole dress was not just green but sparkly green she's looking gorgeous I must say, but wait a second isn't it odd to wear gown type or gown whatever it is to wear in a college party? I'm really confused.

"Uh, Vess where we wearing something gown type or gown whatever it is in a college party? " I asked in confusion.

"Oh I forgot to tell you that It's not just a party which Dylan and Cole throw It is just like a Gala where every school students appear there and also some celebrities come and one last thing there were least chances of paparazzi to come. " she just said it.

"What? I can't go there if someone well not everybody knows me, but what if cole found out who I'm everyone makes fun of me in school and what if mom found out? And I'm not even invited. " I uttered in shock.

"Don't worry and who said you're not invited friends of a friend are invited and If I'm invited you're also invited okay? Everyone is going and don't worry nobody will find out, " she assured me.

"What? How? " I asked in a hurry.

Then she showed masks just like we showed Ace in the game of cards.

"Before you ask so many questions let me tell you that in that day parking lot I was talking with Dylan and I also know what is our problem so, I came up with an idea and suggests Dylan put Masks theme so that It'll become interesting and he agreed to it eventually," she said with a proud smile.

"But how are we going to find out each other? "I asked in confusion.

"Look silly they both were the same the only colour is different you're is red just like your dress while mine is green just like my dress and don't vary our dress design is almost similar. " she winked.

"Are you sure this is a good idea? " I muttered.

"Positively" she replied before I could say something she cut me off

"Now just chill and look at yourself in a mirror how beautiful you're looking. "

I moved towards the mirror to look at myself and I'm in shock. I got goose bump's to see me like this?

'This is me' I asked myself because I can't even identify myself like some magic happens and my appearance changed, Vess pinched me then I realised this is my red dress or I should say gown which is off-shoulder is glorifying my skin which is perfectly suited in it. My lips have red lipstick on them my eyes were perfect smoky eyes and my hair they were curly at the end resting on my shoulders. My eyes were looking gorgeous or I should say smoking hot, I never thought that I would look like this someday and then I started blushing.

Seriously you're blushing?

"Now, I know that you're looking gorgeous and nobody will find out, can we go now? We're getting late Amy, " she asked.

"Okay let's go but before that put your heels on" I replied as I put on my heels which are also red and she put on her heels which is green in colour. We grabbed our clutches and headed towards the downstairs to exit through the door when we reached the car and get seated we both put on our masks and Vess gives me thumbs up then we hitched our seat belts and begin our journey to reach its destination.
