“She’s stable but because of the stress she went through, she’s a little drained”

“But she’s okay right?”

I hear soft whispers around me. I hate it when people talk when I’m trying to sleep.Do they not see a soul that needs resting?

Wait, where am I?

Resisting the urge to yell at the source of the voices, I squint my eyes open slowly. I expect it to be burned by the early morning sun but it’s not. I open my eyes further and I realize that it’s dark outside.

I’m back in the hotel room.

Memories of what happened this morning comes rushing in and I’m filled with sudden fear as I remember me passing out.
