Pursuance Ten
Vesta immediately got off the tricycle. She stepped heavily as she walked to the open gate of the house of Sean's parents. Ashley hugged her tightly as soon as she saw Vesta enter.
"I'm so sorry Vesta, if I didn't tell you right away. I want to make sure it was him," Ashley said in a hoarse voice.
Vesta stroked her back before she slowly pushed Ashley. She saw the redness of her cousin's eyes full of grief looking at Vesta. It reminded her of herself when Ashley called her about Xyrell. Now, it hurts so much.
"I understand, don't worry, Ash," Vesta said and gently squeezed her cousin's right arm just to make Ashley feel fine.
They went inside the house when the rain fell on them. Vesta noticed some people inside knew the family of Clyde. She was searching her eyes for her Ninang Estella. Ashley seems to have noticed that Vesta was looking at her mother.

She was supposed to tell Ashley yesterday about this, but she forgot because of the article review she needed to finish last night given by their professor on their indigenous craft and arts subject.
