I should have known she was planning something but with everything going on this last week or so. Looking back now nothing was out of the norm for her to do. She was taking care of our three little terrors and running the shop along with Nalena. Devon did make the comment that she and Nalena had been doing a lot of shopping lately but I thought it was for the shop. I sit here looking through the credit card statements but there is nothing. She must have paid with cash for anything she bought.

“How long has she been gone?” Ryan asked.

“We all went to bed last night. I hadn’t seen her this morning after getting up before her.” Devon says.

“We thought that she was just at the shop. When Tyler came back and asked where Emerald was we both thought he was crazy. We figured that she was in the back doing something and that he just didn’t see her.” I add.

“I only noticed about an hour ago when I went looking for her in our room that her backpack was gone. I also found a
