Mira's eyes widened, her mouth parted slightly. She blinked, trying to process Azarias's words. After all, this confession was too inconceivable.
Was she zoning out earlier that she heard wrong? Mira closed her eyes. Then, she opened them again to look at the smiling Azarias. He also seemed a little anxious for some reason.
"I t-think I was in a d-daze earlier." Mira almost stuttered. She took a deep breath and forced a smile. "What did you say earlier?"
Mira had her long hair down. As the white cloth previously wrapping her entire body had been replaced by normal clothes, her skin had begun to heal.
It was great that her face was the part where it got the least impact from the blast. After two months, the skin on her face had gotten back how it used to. Azarias couldn't help but reached out to brush her cheek.
"You want me to repeat that?" Azarias said softly. "Alright, I will say it more clearly."
