Chapter 31 - Tyler/Wyatt
Tyler POV
I slowly flutter my eyes open.
My body isn’t sore at all, and my energy is back up to normal. I don’t even have to ask, Wyatt and Kane must have been here while I was sleeping. I usually walk up at the end of their healing treatment, but I slept right through it today.
My eyes instantly travel to the living room, where Theo is sitting and working again. I swear that is all he does is work. Well, that is until he sees me.

Tyler and I walk out of another university meeting with all the departments heads. After several years, they are finally listening to me and doing what I ask in order to speed the meetings along. It was a rough first year though, but they all have ended up coming around. I think they probably got tired of fighting. I’m not going to back down from my policies and procedures, no matter who they know or how they have gotten their title. None of that matters to me. I set down the last box in my new apartment. I can’t help but sigh. I would have never guessed that this is where I would be when I turn 28. However, what can I do, when I can’t stand to be in my own home anymore. Everything is just a sad reminder of what I used to have and what I was hoping the future would be. I sigh again as I look around the living room. The room is so bare compared to what I’m used to having. Well, it does have furniture which is a little old and warn since it came with the place. The walls, however, are completely bare and so is the coffee table. There isn’t one single piece of décor and I don’t plan on changing that.
