Though bewildered beyond her imagination, Anna was quick to determine that Drake wasn’t just going to walk out of the door. She needed to make him know that he was accusing the wrong person.

So, she snapped out of it and raced towards the man who was already opening the door on the driver’s side. The door slammed quite loudly as Anna positioned herself in front of him, her stance really defensive.

The man sighed, an indication that he really didn’t want to see her at that point.

“Leave, Anna.”

She spread her arms to prevent his assess to the car door. “I did not do it.”
