Chapter 2: Alien is my choice

'Dreaming about your Prince on a white horse?' she asked giving me a playful smile. 

I stared weirdly at her 'Yeah if my prince is an alien living in snow. Why not?' I answered. She is always excited about these lovey-dovey stuff. Teeangers!! 

'You really dream about Aliens?' she asked looking at me questionably as seems to judge my maturity level.

I don't know how I can explain the thing I saw that day on those snowy mountains. I can't even tell if it was real or just my imagination but that feeling of being stared at was too real to be a child's imagination. So, calling it an alien for now is good enough.

I was never good in the area of romance. Every time I look at boys around me instead of love I feel disgust. May be alien is my choice.

I grabbed the towel and entered shower having a good relaxing shower finally brought my mind at peace. Its the only place where I can get some 'my time' or so what I thought. Just when I was thinking of peace she called again.

'Luna' trisha called reminding of the schedule. Yes I know we are getting late but give me some time lady. This early to bed, early to rise girl never leaves me alone.

'I am not sleeping' I answered from inside loud enough to let her know

I got out in towel and started putting on my clothes. Today's outfit is a comfortable baggy white T-shirt and my favourite denim shorts in which I can easily move around. Trisha was straightening her hairs near the dresser so there was not much space for me to use.

Today is our trip day outside as a member of Eco group. My love for nature brought me in this little community out of all those clubs I could choose from this school. I went for this Eco club and of course dragged my friend into this trip too.

After days of growing saplings in the campus and nearby area, marking tea trunks with numbers. Putting boards with the species names around the school yard. It was finally time to go together on a trip to a reserve forest to make some observations of the biodiversity there which can also be used in my project.

Even though I am serious about my studies and love to learn new things, I am still unsure about my career. There's so much I wanna be a forest officer that can help Various species, a veterinarian to cure their illness or someone more who can make this world more better for the co-existence of various species together.

I looked at the clock it was eight already I need to speed up. We promised to meet at eight thirty outside the gates. Trisha was all set packing our stuff. 

That's what you get Luna for staying up late till dark. Combing my hairs into a ponytail, I fixed my shorts. Grabbed my shoes and put them on.

'Here' trisha came and shoved some bread into my mouth. I guess every group has this one mother figure and she is ours.

The door was knocked or one can say banged form outside and from this particular style of harassment of my door I knew who it was.

Trisha opend the door and just as I guessed, the tall blonde entered thorough it. Her curled blonde hair swayed as she looked around the room with her icy blue eyes. Who she was? Well another one of my limited friend.

'You guys when the fuck are you coming outside?' Nina asked folding her hands. She was wearing a yellow crop top with a ripped blue boyfriend jeans. 

Her eyes examining both of us and her expressions judging our status. Seeing me still getting ready in front of the mirror she sighed.

I quickened my pace as I didn't want to get scolded by this hot head. I fixed my pony tail and put on my glasses back.

Nina walked close to me in her flat sandals, she really didn't need heels. She stood behind me and started coming my hairs from behind. Meticulously she also fixed my fringes and tucked some of them behind my ears.

Trisha brought some breakfast for us, thank god I was so hungry. They both liked pampering me not because they love me so much, which they actually do but mostly because they think me as a child something they remind me of all  the time.

'Here eat something for breakfast' trisha offered us some sandwich.

'Thanks' me and Nina replied together. After filling our pallet we were ready to step out. I grabbed my bagpack and put away all the plates can't let trisha trisha do everything.

We all walked downstairs passing through many other students wearing casual clothing as its sunday today. I nevee knew students roam around on holidays as I usually don't step out on these days. It a different experience today.

Many girls waved a hello to Nina to which she replied back with a smile exchanging some greetings with them. Nina was the popular girl with a beautiful face and a sporty body. She was the captain of our school's softball team.

I am not a sports lover but play sometimes when forced by her. We reached the grounds and sun rays finally hit my eyes making me blind for few seconds.

Everyone was already waiting outside standing near the mini bus. Five members of eco club and our trio quite a party. Oh and our clubroom teacher too I always forget about the presence of Mr. Anthony. 

All of them looked at us as we came out of the door. 

'You know what's the time?' jack questioned

'Nina you went back to bring them or waste time together' Emily questioned with a  smiling face mocking Nina. They are not on such good terms.

'Sorry guys couldn't resist Trisha's sandwich' Nina apologize looking at jack completely ignoring Emily.

'Hey guys come on get in'

The drama was starting and before it could escalate Rick called out to us urging us to get in the bus quick.
