He resembles her

"Hahahahaha so what. Can't we use a friend as our defense, and you know my group has only basketball players although I am friendly with everyone but not that close to anyone other than my teammates, so it would be a great thing if you become my friend, and on top of that you don't have friends, I know you said you don't want to make friends but everyone needs them, everyone need at least one friend to rely on." Michael said sympathetically as he was again worried about this guy's mental health.

'Is he autistic' he thought but shrugged it as Mars did not look like one. He was ignorant and bratty with lots of attitude, but was not a silent being.

On the other hand, Mars was totally stunned because of what Michael said, does he need friends, does he want friends? these questions started to linger in his head "I have never met someone like you Michael, you are .... You are a..."

Michael was expecting some good words coming out of Mars but as expected to Mars, he just cannot utter anything nice. "Busy body as always." Mars put his head on the desk waiting for Mr. Stele to come and start the class.

Michael felt disappointed with his words but he knew that it's just the start, he can make a strong bond with Mars as he made with many others. He then smiled to himself thinking about it.

No one knew but that certain Blonde guy was taking interest in their conversation, if someone knew that this particular Blonde guy of Senior Class A, was giving attention to someone's chatting, they would definitely faint

'This new guy is weird, Entirely Weird. But he resembles her a lot. I wonder if they have some connection... No, what am I thinking.' he thought to himself and shook his head to get the logic out of his head. It seem that Mars looked familiar to him.

...

It was lunchtime and Michael was dragging Mars with him to his club members a.k.a. his friends and made him sit there. Although Mars wanted to run away, but he and Michael got paired up for the Senior Class Project, which would be submitted at the end of the term, and Michael had refused to cooperate in the project if Mars did not go along with him and have lunch with his friends.

He could have just ignored him since he was not here to study. Passing a project was not in his priorities but he just went with the flow and he himself could not understand that feeling. Maybe Michael's behavior was really making him feel like it was just the right to do so.

"You annoying Creature." Mars huffed and sat down awkwardly giving a single nod to everyone as a greeting.

Before Michael's friends could process anything, he said, "So guys this is Mars, my new classmate as everybody already know and Mars, these are a few of my Basketball club members..." and then he introduced every single one to Mars.

"Hey, dude you were awesome yesterday, you really gave him a nice lesson. I was literally screaming my lungs out and cheering when you won the match" one of them said making Mars wonder were all the basketball club members just like Michael, 'nosy and cheerful'.

"So, you are going to join Boxing Club, hmm." another one said. Mars just blinked not saying anything so Michael had to open his mouth. "No, he does not want to be in the groups with a bunch of jerks." said Michael repeating Mars's words. Mars just rolled his eyes and started to eat his lunch.

"So are you good at any other thing besides boxing." one of Michael's friends again asked.

Mars sighed and opened his mouth finally, "I am good at most of the things except a few like those with balls and swimming." his tone was nonchalant as his gaze was still on the food. Michael's friends were dumbfounded when Mars said that, they surely believed that he was an arrogant person trying to show off.

"So which Club would you Join you have only five days remaining." Michael disturbed everyone's train of thought.

"I think I will go with Shooting Club, Although I am good at marksmanship but still not that good." Well, everyone was yet again stunned by his choice. It definitely was amazing if a boxer or a fighter could shoot well.

Mars had to keep practicing shooting. if the only thing that he himself thought was lacking in him was shooting, but in reality, it was only his thinking. If someone else saw his skills, they will faint but Mars’s definition of perfection was way too ahead then anyone else’s.

"So are you going to be an all-rounder of this school hmm." yet again another friend spoke and Mars sighed.

"Ok I am tired with this speaking thing, let's just eat quietly." Mars was not used to talking a lot, he was surprised himself that he was able to bear this conversation till now.

Michael and his friends started the conversation of their own, leaving Mars listening to their cheerful voices. These discussions and their tones were new to Mars. in the past, if someone ever spoke to Mars, either that person would scold him or praise him or either show sympathy or dread towards him. He never in his life thought that people around him would be like that one day and little did he know, he was liking this atmosphere.

...

Lunch Break was over and so did the rest of the day. "Michael, why are you following me to my dorm huh?" Mars asked annoyed at Michael’s clinginess.

"Hey... I know that I am trying to be friends with you against your will but it does not mean that I will destroy your privacy, we don't have practice today so I am going to the dorm early." he said justifying himself at which Mars shut his mouth and moved towards the dorm again quietly.

When they reached the dorm, Mars was looking at Michael bewildered as they had rooms opposite to each other's, Michael was giving Mars a meaningful smile.

"Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha who knew that we were destined to be friends, your room number twelve and mine is six ha-ha-ha." without any response Mars shut the door harshly at Michael's face.

"Huh... Rude." said Michael rolling his eyes.
