Roommates

Mars was again looking at the mirror not understanding what should he do about the situation with Michael. He did not like being around many people on top of that all of them were boys, but somewhere in his heart he wanted to accept this friendship, he really felt like giving a try to be close to at least one person. He wanted to feel this thing called friendship which was totally new to him.

The only person ever who was like this in his life was his mother, who was no more in this world. 'Can I try accepting these men around me. Can they be any different than those foul men.'

Mars was deep into his traces of thoughts but it discontinued by a knock on the door and he got more annoyed. "If it's Michael I am going to knock him out." he said walking towards the door.

But to Mars's surprise that particular Blonde guy of the Swimming Club was there and that too with his luggage. "Uhhhhh..... what are you doing here?" Mars asked frowning his eyebrows and staring at him from top to bottom just as he did in the class.

"We are going to be roommates from now on..." Blondie was cut off by a roaring "WHAT", which left Mars mouth. Mars's calmness was not something to stay forever, would it?

"Let me complete my sentence, roommates for four to five weeks, as our dorm building has water leakage and it would probably take time to deal with all the stuff and renovation there." Blondie said not giving Mars any chance to intervene again within his words.

"But... but my father has spoken to Principal about me living alone, Due to some personal problem I can't share this room with you or anyone else." Mars said not wanting Blondie to step into his territory.

"Neither do I live with someone else, but it's an emergency and we can't do anything about that, be grateful that it's only the two of us or else others have to adjust four students in one room." Blondie said impatiently, wanting to get rid of the heavy luggage.

"I don't care about others, I won't let you in no matter what and I will personally talk to Principa about thisl." Mars did not want to include his father's old dude into his business but now he had to. He can't let someone invade his privacy and be with him 24/7 when there was something, something which he needed to hide from every single one here.

The handsome Blondie frowned his short eyebrows and the skin of his pretty round head got folds at the fact that this new guy wanted to contact the principal. He himself would not dare to go to him for matters like these. Even though, he was considered to be the favorite of almost every teacher including the principal. He thought maybe Mars belonged to some family of athletes, because it could be the only reason this school would give credit or importance to you.

"Okay as you wish, let's go together but at least let me put my luggage inside, I can't keep carrying them everywhere." Blondie agreed thinking that the principal would not be unjust towards him.

...

Mars and Blondie were standing outside the office and went in when the principal allowed them. "Ah, my two special students want to meet me at the same time."

Mars was annoyed that how can he be cheerfully asking such a question at a time like this when the disaster was on his throat but he was also suppressing his outburst. "Sir, my father clearly asked for a separate room for me but now he came to me and said that we are going to be roommates, I cannot allow that and you surely know the reason behind it." Mars said without taking a breath in between his words.

The principal did not show but he was sure in a distress after what Mars said. "Mars, listen my child. No one knows better than me about it but we don't have any choice, we can't put more than four of our students in a room. They are all athletes, they need rest and comfort in their dorms and neither we can allow them to stay outside. Rooms are already compacted, you are lucky enough that he was the only one left and if there were more students you would really have to adjust with them." the principal was trying to make Mars understand the situation. Although he was the superior of the school but the place where Mars belonged, he was nothing in front of it.

Mars looked troubled and sighed in frustration. "I am really sorry about this but I assure you that Noah is a well-mannered child, he would never disturb you. You would not feel any pressure due to his presence." Looking at Mars’s expressions, principal praised Noah, the Blondie but Mars was sure that it's was notgoing to be easy for him to stay with someone, hiding something that is not meant to be revealed to anyone in this school.

Noah was just looking at them one by one feeling that this Mars was surely someone important or else why would the principal even try to reason with him. He has the authority and he need not to explain anything to any student about such a matter.

"Ok, I agree with him staying in my room but if anything happens, he is out and then you should not complain about it." Mars said at which Noah was again surprised and one could clearly see it in his eyes. No one in the school dared to talk to the principal in that tone, not even the most famous coaches and to him Mars sure seemed something else, someone special and it just made his suspicious about him resembling to someone he knew clearer.

And then Mars left the room without even greeting the principal, leaving Noah with a hanging jaw yet again.
