I called my mother immediately I went back home telling her I’m pregnant, she was happy and promised to come into the city next week to take me to lunch so we can celebrate. Then I go out to brunch the next day with my best friends Lydia and Alessia, I update them about everything and almost immediately they start planning a baby shower for me which is insane. I’m only 8 weeks pregnant, I’m not even yet showing.
