Chapter 17

The cold of the night and the loneliness tortured her and although she was covered with her sheets, that icy sensation did not let her sleep. Tears wet her cheeks and her chest ached.

“Dad…” she stammered, hiccuping in the fetal position, missing him and needing him. She missed him and needed him. If only she hadn't married Daniel! If only her father hadn't died, would that man treat her with respect? She got out of bed intending to get some fresh air, in the hallway, moans caught her attention. She ran to her husband's room and her heart began to race. She knew what they were doing, but seeing it through her eyes was very painful.

She ran out of there and back to her room, once in her safe place, she cried freely.

Three months later…

She used to spy on Daniel and her cousin when they were intimate. She wished he would do the same to her and know why her cousin enjoyed it so much.
