TAKEN five

~~~
A sleek exotic ride pull into the compound 30 minutes after Allen and Marcus left. Stella's ecstatic smile was enough to welcome the 'stranger' into the house. But when the figure come down from the car, she let out some resentment.
"We need to talk!" she said walking into her house giving acceptance of entrance to the stranger behind her. Following her, this person could not help but admire her feminine hygiene and also her charisma. Stella possessed one thing, and that was the confidence she had, whether good or bad, she was confident about it and looking at the position 'he' was in her life, he liked that side of her.
Immediately she closed the room door behind him, he carried her on his waist and wrapped her legs round him kissing her neck forth and back, she groans distastefully and tried pushing him away. "I said we need to talk" she grunts her word. He paused for a moment and then dropped her gently.
"We can't do this." She said with a heavy sigh
He laughed. Laughed hard for some time. He couldn't believe what he heard. It was definitely not Stella talking. Stella can literally kill anyone to have him. She had said that to him always. He knew she loved him, what was all this about?
"Don't play with me." Wrinkles start to form on his face
"Oh boy" she cupped his face and nod her head in pity. "I'm so sorry about this" she clicked her tongue in sympathy. He pulled her hands away from his face and his anger rose. Stella wouldn't mess with him, would she?
"Is this a prank?" he chuckled nervously, looking around hoping for a hidden camera.
"No..its not. Why would I prank you. I'm sincere. We cannot work again" she announced plainly again, she saw how confused he was and she also knew he wanted a reason, better still, some reasons. Stella wouldn't say she got tired of him, he was also pretty good. He was her best, at that time.
"I've got better option" she bluntly spat
"Are you playing with me Stella? Is this a joke. Were you using me!?" he was on his feet this time ready to bounce on her. If he wasn't such a gentle man, he might beat her to pulp
"How could you say that?" her voice broke and her eyes were misty. "I wasn't using you, I never used you, I was genuine. But we can't just happen again. I moved on"
"And what do you mean by a better option!"
"Marcus and I sorted things out. I don't want to do this to him anymore"
"Is that suppose to be a good news?"
"It is. And I would love you to be happy with this decision"
He didn't know how to react to the situation. He was furious at Stella for saying this, on the other hand he also wanted to be happy for her. Would he say his tenure had expired? or should he disagree with Stella's decision of making up with her husband? It was so soon. He wasn't expecting it.
"Congratulations" he sorely said. She gave a quick smile and nod. He moved close to her and packed her hair in a pony tail. He seductively stared at her using his fingers to play with the edges of her hair. He met Stella few months earlier. She had accompanied her friend to the club that night. They both claimed to be on 'marriage holiday' where their husband's leaves them for his business for a month. It happened only once in a year and these ladies felt they had to live the best of their life before they go back to being the wife material everyone wanted them to be.
He was with Stella's friend, Rose at that time and they shared a relationship her husband didn't know about, when she introduced Stella to him, she had clearly told him that Stella needed his service. He never told Stella he had a thing with Rose. It wasn't proper for her to know he was being dutiful to both friends. But it was his business, as long as he got paid.
He got to like Stella better than Rose though. She paid him better and she wasn't a rookie in the game. She was confident around him and didn't make him feel like an actual fuck boy like people called him.
He caressed the back of her neck like she liked it and she let out a chuckle.
"Old moves Spencer" she said and he mischievously raises his brows in surprise.
"Your husband must have gotten lessons from an expert then" he teases
"Tell me about it" she laughed and gently removed his hands from her body. "I would still pay you for coming so don't worry about trying to turn me on" she said moving to take her bag on the bed. He pulled her back to the wall and set his lips on hers. They both stiff without anyone making a move, she tried to push him away but he wasn't letting her.
 Slowly he opened his lips to taste hers and she did the same too.
The kiss that didn't want to happen got intense and he carried her to her bed, curling his hands under her lap, she moaned at the smooth satisfaction she received and she hardened the kiss. He started pulling off her clothes when he gave an abrupt stop.
"What's wrong?" he panted
"You need to go Spencer" she said wearing her clothes back, she moved to her bag brought out her purse and handed him some cash.
"You want me Stella" he flirts
"I don't!" she exclaimed. "I'm married Spencer" she showed him the ring on her finger again. "And I'm not going to do that to Marcus. I'm sorry"
Dead silence
"Its fine, I'll leave" he said and then left her room.
She let out a heavy sigh and said "Thanks". She bounced on her bed and laid flat glaring at the ceiling. She was happy Spencer has left her life,she was always scared Marcus was going to find out, she really needed to play a safe game and discarding Spencer was her first big step.
Allen would have taken the tea from her if her countenance was genuine, or if she brought it with a smile, but she didn't seem too happy about his new position at work. He shoved the tea away and signalled to her to take it, she gave another frown and walked out of his office.
Unluckily for her, she was assigned to report directly to him. That makes work difficult for both of them.
When Allen worked with his previous boss, he dealt with rude and disobedient staff, so seeing her unwillingness to work with him, he chuckled and kept her at the back of his mind.
Getting away from 'home' was a blessing to Allen and he wished he could spend more time at work or work over night like his brother. He planned on extending his plans today to avoid a Stella issue at home. He hoped his plan works.
His phone rang cutting off his thoughts from work and the caller ID that displayed on the screen made his heart skipped. Picking up the call, a feminine but hoarse voice covered his ears.
" Doing well without momma? "she questioned him and he bit his lip with guilt.
" I'm sorry I haven't called"he apologized instantly seeing why his mum called. "Work has been hectic here" he remarked.
He was happy he didn't lie to his mum, better still he was happy his mum called at the right time. He was not keeping her in the dark neither was he giving her a headlight, he had put her in a position where she would not question his thoughts or action.
Bella trusted Allen and she believed him when he said work was hectic. When she got the news of his transfer, she was full of joy. She loved what her son was becoming, a well to do young man who has made lots of profit than his previous works. He also never stopped sending her monthly allowance adding a top up to it. Though she missed him around but Bella would definitely prefer company over company.
"How are you fairing?" she asked the usual parental question not expecting a negative answer though, cause he sounded pretty fine.
"Mum can I call you back. I need to.." he didn't finish his statement when he hung up. By himself. Since Allen started staying with his brother, he hadn't muster enough courage to tell his mother about it. He plainly wanted to avoid the family drama that would ensue between them mostly caused by their parents, so he had to avoid some of her calls so he wouldn't get too engrossed and leak things out. He knows how bad his mum would feel, but he needed to do what seemed right.
"You rejected tea?" Marcus walked into his office along with the worker from earlier who served him tea. The girl still had a frown on her face and seemed displeased Marcus had to interfere in her duties, so she looked rather angry with Allen for making her look like a novice in front of her boss.
"She wasn't convincing enough" Allen replied his brother making eye contact with her too, he felt the rage she was feeling and she looked like she feared losing her job.
"Really Flora?" Marcus turned to her. She gulped out loud in fear as she tried to speak and defend herself.
"Sir. He seemed quite busy with work for a tea. I didn't convince him because.."
"I was kidding Marcus" Allen cut in. "I didn't want the tea.
Flora's sigh of relief didn't ease her mind towards Allen, she hated that he was trying to 'save her'. Being the boss doesn't make you a hero. Or maybe because she didn't like him sitting on that chair. But her sudden resentment was unexplainable.
" Flora would be working together with you, she's safe so make sure you accept things from her"Marcus advised. Allen gave a nod and Marcus left his office leaving Flora behind.
They both stared at each other in the eyes, while Allen smiled with mischief, Flora smokey eye rose in anger. They seemed to have no chemistry so they both wondered how they would work together.
