Chapter TWENTY ONE: Phase One
Slate shifted back at the same time I did. "The pain, you felt it too?" He asked me.
"Yes," I said back making my way back into the pack house to find our mates. There was no signs of anyone that we could see and that could only mean that everyone made it out.
"Kelly is Jason and Kate down there?" I mindlinked her.
What felt like an eternity she responded, "No Alpha. Neither are down here."
"They're not down there. We need to protect what we can and game plan later. I don't think they are hurt or we would have felt it." I said to Slate.
He nodded and we ran outside. All there was was fighting and dark magic being used to explode the cottages surrounding the packhouse. We shifted back to join in the fight when there was a sudden flash of white light at my gate. The coven of Simon and Celeste came rushing in joining the fight against the dark witches.

4:30 was early but the pack has to train and what good of an Alpha would I be if I was late to our 5 am training session? As I got out of bed I remembered I needed to make a phone call and schedule a meeting with Alpha Thomas of the Red Moon pack. I woke up at 4:30 with my alarm screaming at me. Sometimes I hate having training but I know it is necessary for my pack so we can stay sharp in case of attack.
