Chapter FOURTEEN: Minerva
Slate's POV-
When Minerva woke up out of her unconscious state. I already had an idea of what she experienced as my mom did the same for me.
"How are you feeling?" I asked her.
"I'm okay. Just making sense of what just happened," she said to me weakly.
Sitting beside her, I placed my arm around her as she cuddled against my side. "I never thought I would ever get to see my mom again and yet she was there, talking to me, telling me about the prophecy."
"I know what you mean. My mom had done the same for me and it took me awhile to process it. I just hate we didn't come to you sooner so it wouldn't be so hard to process," I said squeezing her shoulders.
She smiled at me and sat up. "Well we better get some sleep while we can. It's going to be a long day tomorrow."
