Chapter Two

Lone pov;

And yet again I have destroyed another pack ,many more to go .

My eyes were blood red just like that of my dragon and i was pleased with the destruction i had just wrought forth. pouring out a blaze of my anger upon the fire wolf pack had me feeling nothing but pure power and might .

The sky laid down a blanket of sadness and darkness although it was still mid day the thick heavy clouds shaded over the luminous sun and it looked like mid night ,as l flew in the skies on my mighty double headed dragon scar .

Scar has been my dragon since forever ,this mighty fire breathing beast, very intelligent and extremely powerful creature, i admire him a lot .

I found him in one of the underworld lost caves when I went looking for a sacred weapon ,I didn't expect to see him there that day ,he was the guardian to the cave

I wrestled with him on that faithful day but at last I tamed him, he was impressed with my strength and accepted to be my loyal pet dragon, and has been my help in many tough battles ever since then , i love riding off on his back ,it makes me feel so powerful,and gives me the perfect exit after every fight .

We gradually approach the wizard towers ,in the hills of the dark forest, as we get closer the two wizards standing guards on top of the first two towers at the entrance releases a ring of fire around scar and I and asks us to identify ourselves ,this are the wizard hills guards , they usually put on a robe ranging form blue to red depending on their levels in wizardry some very powerful ones ,regarded as the know all or seer, puts on color white, as this is a sign to show their purity and oneness with the infinite energy ,but this ones here, standing guard before me are putting on the blue robe signifying that they not so experienced yet ,if i were to ever fight them.

I can easily take them both out with a single swing of my scorpion mace,but this isn't an attack upon me ,its just a normal ritual the wizards observe, not everyone knows this place as it is hidden ,unless you come here often like I do .

I come here very often either before I go for a battle or I'm just coming back from one, to know the outcome to receive a prophetic word from the seer ,I might be all powerful now ,but I still have to consult the powers that has brought me this far ,its the only way you stay indestructible, especially when you have so many enimies because i have so many enemies, wanting to destroy me .

Not just anyone can come in and out of this city ,the way they like ,and then finally one of the wizards standing guard recognizes me saying .

"Lone the king  you're back so fast  "

I smiled with an evil grin, and finally they took off the fire ring that had me arrested in mid air ,the whole time I got here.

" master juju is in his tower as always ,he's probably waiting for you as he knows you're coming already " he said to me.

Master juju is over a thousand years old ,very old and very wise with a long white beard he's the chief seer of the wizards in the first dimension.

And I flew into the city with scar heading for the seer's tower.

The seer is a father figure to me, he has always been my guide ,when I was still lost in the dark forest powerless with no where left to go ,he took pity upon me took me in as his student and taught me every thing I know about wizardry today , spell's dark magic and enchantments ,and he told me many secrets about our world ,the underworld and the different dimensions , he opened my eyes to the invincible ,he practically made me who I am today ,thanks to all the wisdom ,knowledge and secrets he shared with me ,not minding if I would ever turn against him one day ,he trusted me blindly and I shall be forever loyal to him to show how grateful I am , for turning my whole world around ,in a way I never imagined .

As scar gradually descends lower, I can perceive the smell of incense and smokes slowly evaporating to the sky ,in form of thick white clouds ,it is always dark here in the dark forest even when it is mid day. Day and night both had the same meaning here .

This is because of the spell the wizards casted over the forest very many years ago .

When the wizards first discovered that the first dimension was habitable by them ,they migrated here to settle ,the wolves of the first dimensions saw them as a treat, because of their magic ,and abilities to control the atmosphere and shoot fireballs, they were afraid that the wizards would one day drive them out of their lands ,so they came together in conspiracy to wipe them all out, before that day ever came to pass , the chief seer as of that time , for saw this plan of the doom that was coming for them and how the wolves had planed to eliminate them all ,in his wisdom he instructed his wizards to all withdraw back into the forest ,where the dimensional gates where originally located ,and casted a spell to cloak the entire forest with darkness , making them invincible to the ordinary eyes as a result of this the dark forest was born, and everything in it and surrounding it where over shadowed with total darkness ,sending fear down the spine of anyone who dares to come close ,making the possible existence of the wizards a fiction and myth to the majority .

To some ,the wizards were all wiped out many years ago , to others there's no such thing as a wizard ,but a few who are gifted, still suspects that there's more to the dark forest that meets the eye ,but no one ever dared to find out ,as anyone who approach is instantly over taken by fear and run away without ever looking back .

The dark forest holds many secrets ,many dark and unimaginable secrets .

At last scar and i finally landed on the roof top of the master juju wizard tower ,i got down from scar's back and walked down through the tiny dark and lonely stairs ,he had the room lit with candle light to illuminate the place ,and it made the room really warm ,and it felt great ,considering the fact that it had been really chilly outside .

I look around and there's no one in the room ,just the candle lights that illuminated the alter where he meditates . He knows I'm coming definitely he's just trying to play an old prank on me ,like he does every time, the last time he made himself invisible and surprised me from behind with a grip by my scorpion mace i had belted up by my waist ,causing me to shiver in fear knowing him and what he's capable off ,he kept throwing jokes at me ,that i was still a weakling ,just the way he scared me the first time when he found me at riverbank at the dark forest .

This time I'm not going to let him startle me like he did the last time ,first of all i need more light in this room ,so i can see where exactly he's hiding ,he's definitely in here somewhere ,the chief seer never leaves his tower, never, not for any reason ,unless there's an emergency.

I created a little fire ball in my palm,just the way he taught me ,and lighted up the touches that hanged around the walls ,and i heightened my were wolf abilities ,this way i can never be caught off guard ,and evil smirk formed on my face ,now I'm ready for whatever surprise he throws at me .

A voice called from the dark end of the room's hallway ,there's no need for that lone ,at once i turned around in light speed , to see who it was ,it was master juju .

"Lone don't tell me you did all this just so i wouldn't catch you off guard " he said to me as he took of the white hoodie he had on his face, and walked over slowly towards me with his hands behind his back as he walked past me and went towards the window .

"Of course not master ,its just the way you taught me to be remember, i was only following the instructions you gave me during training "

"I see" he said as he gently rubbed his hands on his beard slowly .

Master, Alexandra is now a memory ,i ripped out his heart and sent his soul to hell ,i did the same to the entire fire wolf pack too ,i had the demons eat them for breakfast.

You did what? He said As he tilted his head towards me .
