“God… I knew this day would come.” Orlando murmured to himself and squeezed Thelma’s hand a bit. She look up at him shyly and saw the tiredness and boredom in his features. Thelma gave him a warm smile and hoped it helped him relax which he returned with a cocky smirk.
“Mr Chester, please come forward to the stage and give us a heart warming speech. It’s been a while since we heard from you.” Kaycee says and the crowd laughed.
“I have nothing to say than welcome everyone.” Orlando spoke bluntly and stepped down from the stage with Thelma by his side. Kaycee looked taken back by Orlando’s actions and looked at the MC for help.
“Well people let’s get this party started.” The MC took over and called for the DJ’s special while everyone took position on the dance floor as the music came alive.
