It's Quite Delicious!

Carissa jumped from the tree and approached the unconscious vampire. She had flicked a paralyzing needle in his direction hidden in her sleeves.

She squatted and put her right palm on the vampire’s chest. Blue fire surges from her palms and spreads to the vampire’s entire body. She watched with fascination as it turned into ashes.

Suddenly, a small sphere ball, like a bead, floats into the air and enters Carissa’s forehead before it disappears.

Carissa’s eyes flashed blue and she felt her body become stronger.

She stood up and smiled wickedly before making her way through the forest and eliminating the vampires who still haven’t given up on searching for her.

Although her senses of smell weren’t functioning very well because of the rain, she still could use her hearing senses.

It would be better if she could smell her enemy but guess, hearing their movements is enough.

The rain is quite nosy. But, Carissa had a higher degree of hearing senses.

In half an hour, the army of vampires in the forest was gone like a gust of wind, without a body to be buried or cremated.

Carissa who had collected more than half of the 300 soldiers' sphere balls was more energetic than before.

There’s no way she couldn’t beat Aischylos this time.

The rain had washed away most of the wild dog’s blood on her clothes. However, there are still stains that would take a lifetime to remove and make her look sadistic.

She walks leisurely towards Aischylos camp and ignores the harsh rain hitting her body or the cold wind passing by her.

She wasted no time when she arrived and retrieved the foldable twin sickle on her boot.

With lightning speed, she pounced on her first victim and slashed it on his neck. She didn’t even wait to see its body fall before pouncing on her next target.

The vampires immediately recognised her and started attacking her too.

It was a fierce battle.

Aischylos was resting in his camp when he heard the commotion in the background.

He went out of his camp and was stunned when he saw his soldiers falling on the ground one by one.

“Ghost, you’re dead!”

Aischylos ran towards her who was still in the middle of the fight, raised his hand, and landed it on her back.

Carissa was taken aback and her body was thrown a few meters away from Aischylos punch momentum.

“Ugh!”

Blood spurts out from her mouth the moment she landed on the ground.

She was quick to move to her feet. She wiped her lips and glared at Aischylos with hatred in her eyes.

She throws one of the sickles towards his face before rushing towards him with the other sickle.

Aischylos ducked but never expected Carissa to appear in front of him with her sickle moving towards his neck.

He could only lift his arm to dodge her attack before trying to sweep her off of her feet.

Carissa fell on her back and watched as the vampires loomed over her with malice.

She sat up and bent down on one knee before hitting the snowy ground with her palm and releasing her foot-chain-sphere-ball aura that reached 2 kilometres away.

The vampires were trapped inside the blue aura and couldn’t move their feet at all including Aischylos.

Carissa stood up and moved towards Aischylos, standing face to face before him.

“Let me go, you witch! Ghost!”

“Shameful! Using such tricks on us!”

Carissa’s lips curled up as she waited for him to look straight into her eyes before her eyes flashed.

After that, she walked around the circle leisurely as she gave Aischylos a provoking smile as he watched one by one of his soldiers fall to the ground.

“Gaaahhhh! Ghost! I’ll kill you! I’ll kill you!” seeing his comrades dying and unable to struggle or escape, his hatred for Carissa grew deeper.

He was unaware that she had planted a seed in his brain. He didn’t even notice that she could access his brain anytime she wanted.

The aura that lasted for two minutes killed all of his soldiers but not him.

Why?

He wasn’t sure.

“Just kill me! Kill me if you dare!”

Carissa watched how his body trembled with hatred and anger. She saw how veins appeared at the back of his hand and saw a glimpse of sadness in his eyes.

Interesting.

This vampire had compassion for his soldiers.

However, he was rooted in his spot even though he could move and rushed forward to kill her.

He wanted to but his mind and body were clashing. It felt like...his mind and body weren’t his own anymore and what’s more, he felt the need to obey her.

Clap! Clap! Clap!

Carissa's whole body tensed when she felt a towering presence behind her.

“Not bad. Not bad.”

“I was wondering what’s keeping my little commander busy. It turns out to be the ghost leader.”

Carissa clenched her hand as her heart pounded in panic.

How did she not realize his presence until now?

Despite the surging storm inside her, Carissa appeared calm and unmoved as she studied the man before her.

Brown hair, blue eyes, sculpted jaw, muscled body with a towering height.

He looks like a perfectly sculpted specimen and he smelt like flowers.

Flowers? Huh! He must have spent his time fooling around.

Dressed in black and red clothes, he gave Carissa a flirty smirk and wink.

“Who are you?”

Carissa wonders if he is Aischylos's master or someone sent by the true master.

He grinned, “Nice to meet you, milady. I’m Heidrich Samsons.”

Heidrich walked past her and approached Aischylos who immediately fell to his knees with his head lowered.

“Master!”

“Hm. What are you waiting for? Go and capture her for me!”

“Yes, Master!”

Aischylos stood up and charged towards Carissa.

‘Damn it!’

Carissa dodges his attack but never intends to attack him back.

If she were to use her ability, Heidrich would definitely use it to his advantage.

Her eyes flashed for a second before she hit Aischylo's chest with her palms.

Aischylos was thrown back by the momentum of her power. Carissa used this advantage to activate the seed in his mind.

Aischylos struggled to balance his body before finally planting his foot on the ground.

His eyes flashed blue for a second before his eyes went back to normal.

‘Go and kill him for me!’ Carissa ordered, communicating with him inside his mind.

As if possessed, Aischylos turned towards Heidrich and charged towards him.

Heidrich was stunned for a second before he cursed, “Crazy!”

Carissa watched the battle between the master and his commander from afar with a smirk on her face.

With the battle still going on at the corner of her eyes, she spread her arms beside her before spreading blue fire towards the corpse around her.

Dozens of sphere balls float around the air when the corpse turns into ashes.

Carissa sighs with satisfaction when the sphere ball fills her body with energy.

‘It’s quite delicious!’
