After Faye falls asleep, linking Cam and Christian so they can watch her- they get here and I make my way to Jay and explain to him what I've noticed.
"Hey, Jay, I've noticed that not everyone is on our side.", I say.
"Faye, linked me, telling me to read everyone's mind to see who's an ally and who isn't.", Valentine tells us as she pops out of nowhere.
"One, don't do that, and two, damn she's already ahead of us.", I say, happy.

Laughing at him when we suddenly sensed someone coming, so we pivot our attention towards the stranger. "Good evening alpha.", they say.

Stirring in my sleep as I sense Kevin's heartbeat quicken; I keep turning until I give up and sit up with him looking with his eyes widened.
