Nikolay:
“Baby girl?”
“Yes, love?” Kiara asked turning to face me. The girl had been quiet since leaving her mother’s house and even though I didn’t want to bother her with talking about the subject. I couldn’t help but worry about her.
“What happened inside there? Did she say anything that…?”
“Nothing love, she didn’t say anything that I didn’t expect. The woman simply wanted to vent and I’m guessing that being put in the corner made her lose herself” Kiara answered looking out the window. The two of us have been driving for the past hour, I was initially supposed to take us back home. But seeing the state that my wife was in, I didn’t want her going home being upset.
“When are we going back home? I mean to the States?” Kiara asked and I smiled at her taking her hand in mine and kissing her knuckle.
