Kiara:

I sat in the VIP lounge at the airport waiting for my flight.

If Nikolay thought that he was going to send me away when he desired then he’s so wrong. It hurt me to decide to leave without even saying goodbye, but I wouldn’t have been able to look him in the eye as I was leaving. Knowing that he was wanted me to leave, that he actually considered it.

“Mrs. Ivanov, we’ve had a little problem, therefore, I hope you don’t mind but the flight would be delayed a bit” the manager said walking toward me. Panic written all over her face and I raised an eyebrow at her before nodding. Her eyes avoided mine and I sighed reading the book through my tablet as I waited. The manager left me be and one of the waitresses walked toward me with a glass of orange juice, putting it in front of me on the glass table.

“Thank you darling” I said nodding at the woman who smiled before taking a step back and leaving me be.
