Chapter 3. Out of Control

Thea looked at the two women with a smirk on her face. Then she pushed the stunned man to the side and took her clothes to dress quickly. It didn't take many minutes to put on her white top and adjust her hoodie. However, the man wasn't making it easy for her to move around. His hot body was still in front of her. His breath was even moving quickly as if he was suppressing something.

The two women looked at her dressing as if nothing had happened. The ire in their eyes were about to burn her skin, but they controlled themselves.

"You continue," Thea gave them a mocking smile as she passed by their side. Then, after she took her bag from the entrance, she went outside quickly.

The man watched her with big eyes, he couldn't understand what just had happened. There was no time in his memory that he lost so much control over his instincts.

However, the moment she stood before him with those indifferent and cruel eyes showing that she didn't want him, he forgot his composure and reacted strongly. His only thought was that he didn't want to lose her, and if he let her take a step out of that office, she would be gone for sure.

Yet, he didn't understand why. He had been married to her for a year, and they hadn't seen each other. He thought that he had finally forgotten her, that she won't mean anything to him, but every time he stared at her, all his past composure went to hell, a strong emotion erupted from within him, something out of his control not letting him focus on anything.

Therefore, he decided to avoid her like a plague, to let her alone in the mansion like a beautiful flower waiting for him until he sorted out his mind.

He was afraid of what could happen to him, though, if he dared to let her enter his life.

Now that they were divorced, it would be for the best, he thought.

But seeing her march away after he signed, his heart pounded faster than ever and his feet were already behind her closing the door, impeding her from leaving.

'I must be crazy...' he passed his fingers on his hair.

"Dion, what is the meaning of this?!"

The old woman was his grandmother, Olivia Hesse, the dear grandma that had seen him grow up as a true mother, while his biological mother traveled the world as the best and most renowned actress of the country, not minding leaving her son alone.

"Nothing… what brings you here, grandma?" He tried to calm down, resisting the urge to follow the woman.

"How is this nothing… you were… and with that woman!"

The old madam had a powerful aura like his grandson with cold gray eyes and hair still brown and beautiful, she reflected the character of a truly strong woman. It could be seen that she was gorgeous in her youth, and the remains of her appearance were still there. She was praised as a very intelligent woman, and she knew from the beginning that her grandson despised the wife he was forced to wed. That's why she was so shocked, seeing the woman inside with him in that condition.

"There is nothing going on with her. Why are you here, grandma?"

He was getting impatient, the woman had left without turning back even in that situation. Right now, she was about to the Civil Office to leave the papers and proceed with the divorce. His mind was in chaos as he typed extremely quickly on his phone. 'I won't let you go, woman! You started it, now you finish it.'

His memories went to her beautiful face again, reminiscing her flushed cheeks and parted wet lips. He couldn't wait to taste them again and furthermore.

"You unfilial boy! Is this the way I educated you?"

The old woman was throwing a fit and pointing at him with her delicate finger.

"Grandma, please don't worry, this must be a misunderstanding, right? Dion?"

The delicate and fragile young woman in a white dress took Grandma Hesse's hands to comfort her, then she looked at Dion with her cute bright eyes, but they showed that she was clearly wronged.

"Oh dear Rose, please don't mind this awful boy." Grandma Hesse patted the back of Rose's hands with tenderness while giving her a small and comforting smile. He turned around, her head, to see the oblivious man looking at his phone intensely waiting for a response. "You! Unfilial boy! You dare ignore me?!"

His phone rang and the message he wanted to see came at that instant, however, his face turned gloomy instead of relieved. "Damn woman!"

He stood up, ignoring the two women in his office, and went out without sparing them a glance.

"Wait, Dion!"

Grandma Hesse watched as the man walked away, ignoring her. He had never behaved that way, she knew he had inherited the cold temperament from his grandpa, but he was always considerate around her. When he married the woman she knew he was even more angry than usual and for a year he kept ignoring her to the extent of leaving her alone in that enormous mansion. She was sure that he didn't like her, but now. "What is going on?"

"Grandma?"

"Eh? Oh, dear Rose, let's go to the old house. Don't worry, we will tell him the good news there."

"Yes, grandma."

Rose smiled and held the old woman's hand, but deep inside her eyes, a fit of hidden jealousy was exploding. She was sure that today was going to be the happiest day of her life. All her hard work was finally going to pay off, but she never expected to see that woman on top of his desk, almost naked.

'I won't let that woman take away what it's mine.'

She didn't let her emotions take over control of her face while she went out, instead, she acted as she was wronged and disappointed catching a woman trying to seduce her husband.
