BAKI.The Hausa tradition continue to take place as the older women took her to her new home. The house is large but not extra large, even though she is not seeing it very much from her veil, she could tell that it is large. They walk her to her room and sat her down on a bed, her face still closed. They said a few words of advice about how to be a good wife before leaving her with her friends, waiting for the groom and his men to do the siyanbaki (something her friends will do -asking the groom and his friends to pay before seeing the bride). Nana shook her head at how they're talking about selling her for a million. More guests came in to see the house and walk out with her face still closed, she was just hearing the Allah ya sanya Alheri.

HER SISTER IN-LAWS.Zayn groaned for the nth time beside Nana. This is the set of eighth guests and he's tired of going from living room to his bedroom so he kissed Nana's cheek again, telling her that he'll be in the other living room and he's going to lock himself up. She should tell them that he is not around. Nana didn't even hear much but she gets where he's coming from and understand it. THE GIFTS.A week passed in a blur. Both Zayn and Nana are getting tired of the guests that are coming. Some of them are their neighbours and some of them are Nana's. Nevertheless, they welcome them with a smile but after the third day, they hardly have guests to which they're very thankful to. The last time they had guests around, Nana welcomed them alone without Zayn or Maaysa's help and she's proud with how she handled them just well with not panic attack or nervousness sipping through her veins. SOMEONE FROM THE PAST. "Get dressed, mami. We'll stroll around the estate today. Greet my parents and then get some chocolates." HIS WORDS OUT.Zayn could see from the side of his eyes as his wife kept fidgeting on her seat at the passenger's side. She's itching to ask questions and trying to hide from her previous action which he very much liked. Her innocence is back with full force even before they left the place and that is just intriguing him to her every time. She's just full of do many things but she didn't let herself get too comfortable. He needs to change that, and that too soon. First, she'll ask him so many questions as soon as they settle in the house, he'll make sure she asks him. He's not ready to answer the answers I details but he wants her to ask him that will show how much she cared.You can't just see someone calling your husband baby and won't get jealous about it."Stop fidgeting." HIS PAST."That girl was my wife." Even though Nana wanted nothing to do more than keep quite and listen more closely and reckfully, she couldn't help the gasp that escaped her mouth. GETTING DRESSED.After doing her morning routine -bathing, washing hair, brushing, drying her hair, wearing on a mustard light dress, with ruched waistband and crossover detail at the bust, she put on bakhoor, gab-gab, sandalwood and al khanjaar everywhere in the house and then walk into the kitchen to prepare breakfast for them. Not knowing how to cook, Nana halted at frying Irish potatoes, sausage, samosa and egg sauce for them. She set everything in a different medium size cute warmers after she was done, before orchestrating the dining table. "What do we have here?" LUNCHEON.As soon as she set her feet on the red carpeted floor, the aircon hit her face making her shiver a little before adjusting to it. Zayn noticed that and remove his hand from her waist to wrap it around her shoulder, gently tucking her into him. Weird but she's liking the heat his body radiates. She lean into him also, blushing when he crane his neck down to look at her. She's getting so comfortable with him and that's what makes his day bright and hopes nothing will ruin their time together.
