Chapter 6: Birthday Disaster

Xavier's pov

  I get my shower after our training session, get dressed and order lunch to be brought up. After I eat, I walk down stairs and run into John. Just then my wolf, Alastair, starts going nuts. 'Mate' he keeps chanting over and over again.

'Wait are you serious?' I ask him

'Yes! We have to go find her!'

"Alastair says out mate is near we have to go find her" John just nods in agreement. 

I start to walk outside towards where the party's at but part of me is pulling me toward the the dining hall so I follow my gut and head towardsthe dining area. I have never came this way I've always ate in my room. I get a could steps in and I'm hit with the most amazing smell of fresh baked apple pie and roses. But the scent was mixed with blood.

'Mate is hurt!' Alastair growls.

  We follow the scent to the dining area but it smells like its coming from closer to kitchen. We walk past the kitchen down a hallway and the scent is getting stronger. We stop in front of what looks to be like a linen closest. My heart is racing as I grab the handle and open the door. 

   I can't help the loud growl that escapes me as rage fills my entire body. My mate is laying on the ground with broken and bones covered in blood. If I have ever seen her before I wouldn't be able to recognize her because her face was pretty much smashed in. She's barely breathing. I'm fighting Alastair coming forward and burning shit entire pack to the ground.

  John steps past me to take a look at her. "Alpha we have to get her to a doctor now she's not healing." There's panic evident in his voice. He finds an omega and demands they take us to the pack doctor. 

  'When I find out who did this im going to ripe them limb from limb.' Alastair growls in my head.

  I am just in spock. I finally found her and now I might lose her..

Ryder's pov 

   This party is boring but it should get more entertaining this evening its not even fully set up yet. Jess keeps clinging to myside telling everyone about her becoming Luna. I can't help but notice that I haven't seen Xavier or John since our sparring match. I pry Jess off me and decjde to walk around the party a bit when I hear a loud growl the alpha aura is strong, stronger than my fathers, it must be Xavier.

  I run to go find our what was going on. Dad and mom make it to the dining hall at the same time I do. I just look at them and then quickly walk to the orphans room. And there was the reason for the growl, her door was open, blood soaked the floor and she was no where to be seen. F**k.

  My parents walk up behind me. "Ryder, why is there blood in her room?" The anger radiating off of him.

  "She tried to leave her room and she wasn't allowed out so Jayce and I taught her a lesson." I said simply. "I don't understand why you're mad."

  "You don't understand why I'm mad?! You know the rules of beating her while we have guest and now look, the most powerful alpha in the area found her and is obviously p****d. I just mindlinked the hospital to see if she was there, she is. Let's go check on her and hope the b***h dies."

   This is not going to be good.

  Katerina's pov

  Why can't I open my eyes? All the sounds are muffled. I could of sworn i died. I lost so much blood. I haven't heard from Rosalie in so long. I think I'm dying. Everything hurt so much. I just wish I knew what was going on. I need to rest, everything goes dark again.

Everything is quiet.

Xavier's pov 

  "I need a doctor now!" Pushing my alpha aura, I yell entering the hospital so that they help her quickly.

  The pack doctor looks at her in shock before having me gently put her on a stretcher.

  "We have to take her for an emergency surgery i will update you soon." He says as he quickly goes through a set of double door leaving me and John to stand there.

  Hell getting her here wasn't easy I have to carefully pick her up and get here as fast as possible without accidentally inflicting more damage. Why did this happen? Who in the hell did this?  

  As I was thinking to my self alpha Carter and Ryder come busting through the hospital doors. "What in the hell happened??" Carter spoke. He sounded angry and all i can do is stare the rage was building up at the thought of what happened to my mate. 

  "We heard your growl and went to see what was going on. We was told you brought an omega here." Ryder spoke next and I could not contain my anger any longer, I took him up by the throat. 

  "We found her half dead in a closet. Is this how you allow your omegas to be treated im sure if you went to where I was you saw all the blood." Carter and John pulled me off of him.

  "She disobeyed the laws." Carter said simply.

  "So this is how your treat them? That closet appeared to be a bedroom. At least thats what I'm guessing given the make shift cot." John looks Carter directly in the eyes when he speaks.

  I didn't even notice. This just enrages me more. What type of alpha rooms their omegas in a closet and make them sleep on a makeshift bed?

 "She is the only omega housed like that. She killed her parents, her father was out beta and a dear friend of mine. We took her in even with the circumstances and Ryder and Jayce, our now betas son, caught her saying she was going to go against her loyalty to the pack when she turned 18 and go rouge." Carter explained

  "We told her she could not leave her room and attend the party or else she would be punished. She willingly went against an order from her alpha so she was punished." Ryder informed me with no remorse in his voice.

  "So you beat her half to death and left her to die?" I can help the angry laced in my tone.

  "I agree that my son went a little to far but she is rebellious and is constantly disobeying me, she was warned." Carter stated.

"We will just have to find out if you're telling the truth if she wakes up after surgery." John says and I could hear the disbelief in his voice.

  Could she have done that? Could my mate of killed her parents and constantly disobeyed her alpha?.

John is right. We should hear her side of the story.
