Chapter 7: Who is this God of a man?
Xavier's pov
My mate, who i found out her name is Katerina, has in in surgery for a few hours. John has been getting phone calls from people are our pack so he's been in and out but for the most part he's stayed by me. Ryder left to go back to his party but alpha Carter has stayed here and has said nothing. I have stopped thinking about what they said. How would the moongoddess pair me with someone who murdered their parents. I have been known as a ruthless alpha but only to my enemies. I am fair to my pack. I threat everyone with dignity and respect but I haven't had a pack member murder their family.
The doctor comes through the double doors and interrupts my thoughts. "She made it through surgery now we wait for her to wake up."

Katerina's pov I was enjoying my girl talk with Angelica she was telling me about John. There wasn't much I could tell her about Xavier except that I felt safe with him. And then they walked in and Xavier told me his plan. It worried me a bit but I understood. They probably wouldn't let me leave without a fight. Xavier's pov I throw Ryder's grey with white chest wolf and he gets up and lunges at me and I jump out of the way and start circling him. Matthias, johns wolf stands on guard. Watch our every move while making sure no one come running in. He tries to lunge again and I grab him by the throat and start shaking him until I feel his neck snap. 2 down, not to mention their warriors my warriors are taking down. Hopefully this will be over soon enough. We go running down stairs to meet up and finish this fight with everyone else. Luna Jocelyn pops up as I turn the corner with red puffy eyes. Its apparent she felt me kill her mate and son. She shifts. Her smaller all grey wolf lunges at me. And Alastair just side steps, grabs her by her neck and gives her a hard shake, breaking her neck and throwing her off to the side. We walk out of the pack house and see our warriors have taken down about 70% of their warriors.

Katerina's pov Xavier climbed into the back and helped me in. John spoked to the warriors and the climbed into the driver seat. Leaving, i was nervous and excited. My biggest issue now if the fact i don't know how to be a Luna. I don't know how to lead or guide people. We start our drive to our new home. Xavier says its a couple hours away but the closer and closer we get the more nervous I become. Katerina's pov Losing your parents at a young age is a very hard thing to go through. Losing them on your birthday is worse. Almost 10 years ago on my 8th birthday my parents went to the store to get my cake and presents but they never returned.
