                                I picked a red satin gown for me with strips. It was a simple but elegant gown giving my body a mermaid look. The door creaked as it opened behind me. I placed my hand over my chest and looked over my shoulder. 

     Heat crawled my cheeks, "You should knock," I said, taking a deep breath. 

     "My bride is shy," He smiled, finding happiness in the designation. I wouldn't say happiness. He forced this wedding on me. I still couldn't believe that I'm married. I couldn't pay the price, going away from the people I loved. I couldn't obliterate what I had done. He could be harsher, but he was still sweet. 

     I glanced at the mirror back. He stopped behind me. His hand brushed my back as he glided the zip up, taking his time.
