Chapter 2

Dizen is now drying his wet hair after he took a bath but his best friend Celo is now snoring, seems like he's really comfortable with the bed and pillow he has on his sleep. This pretty guest room has two bed so there's no way Dizen would deal with Mister Snore. Once his done with his hair, he stood up and made his way out of the room to return his wet towel to bathroom.

Maybe peeking at the lady once again before he sleeps is another reason because why not? Who would have thought it might be helpful or for at least can induce sleepiness.

Now he's yawning but he still manage to look at the girl when he got out of the bathroom, he stood there outside the door of his bed room as he watch the girl sleep. His yawns are now a smile which was bigger than his usual and it is one of the unusual thing he did for today.

He carefully closed the door and the slid his feet way toward the guest room right in front of his bedroom where the girl's sleeping now. When he got inside, he pulled the other bed away from Celo's bed so that the loud snores will be lessen though he is used to it but this time his friend's snores is annoying and irritating to hear that's why he needs to avoid it.

Once done fixing his bed, he lie down his body and covered the half of his body by the thick white, cotton-like blanket. He closed his eyes and pray until he didn't notice that he fell asleep without finishing his prayers.

It is six in the morning when his body's awakened, he immediately ran out of the guest room and go to his bedroom to see if the girl's still there rather than running to the bathroom, gargling water or brushing his teeth which were the first thing he does when he wakes up, but now it's like turned tables.

When he opened the door, it is the time when the girl stretches her arms, getting up and brushing her blurry eyes with her fingers. Oh my gosh, she's awake now! What should he do? That's what he is thinking right now but he couldn't came up about something until the girl saw him, standing there at the doorway and staring at her like a nervous kid.

"Who are you?" she asked, starting to scan the place.

Dizen remained non-verbal.

"What am I doing here?" She removed the blanket wrapped around her body.

Dizen didn't answered, he's now gaping at the girl's visage.

"Hey!" The woman shouted and threw the pillow on Dizen's face which is good for him 'cause he finally came back to his senses.

"Oh, hey!" That's the only word Dizen was able to say since he's in the process of trying his best to regain his good composure. "G-Good morning..." He stuttered for that simple greeting he was able to say for at least to establish a good conversation start.

The woman rolled her eyes, crossing her arms in front, placed it under her guts as she continuously tapping the floor by her foot, as if trying to scare the man.

Dizen noticed it but he just cleared his throat and asked: "How's your sleep?"

And the word "sleep" started to have so much meaning for the woman that she began to get paranoid like things are sinking in just by now. She started to inspect and touch her body, peeking at her bra or if she still have undies for at least and that oversized shirt she know she didn't own. Probably it's not hers because it's Dizen's.

"Jesus Christ!" She screamed as if something worst had happened to her. "What happened last night? Did you--"

"Stop." Dizen's interjection, pushing his both hands towards his front to calm down the woman, "It's not what you think," he added as if that earned him some respect from the woman.

"Then why am I wearing this?" She interrogated, raising her brows like she would have it gone on her forehead.

"Oh, well, that's mine." Dizen was calm, trying to be cool when he said that and then he did one step forward.

"See?" The woman stood up and walked towards Dizen.

Dizen stopped, walked back before the woman bumped on him. "Wait, I told you it's not what you think."

"Then why am I wearing your shirt?" She asked and then they stared at each other for ages.

It's like there's an angel passed by above their atmosphere that the both parties became calm so they discussed every details of happenings last night. Dizen told her everything without missing any part of the story. Dizen also cleared the woman's mind when she asked, why she's wearing the man's shirt. Dizen explained that he didn't saw anything and their maids were the ones who are responsible in changing her clothes. He's not that maniac or perverted or what, he also confirmed that.

"So that's what happened?" The woman asked after the long story have been told.

"Yes," Dizen plastered a cheap smile on his lips.

The woman faked a smile, stood up from the bed where they sit and said, "Thank you, can I leave now?"

"Wait, I'm gonna ask you some questions so please don't go," Dizen said, holding the woman's hand so she will refrain from walking away.

"Is it that important?" The woman turned to face him again.

"Yes, it is." Dizen stood up, looked down the floor and up to the ceiling as if he's having second thoughts about what he would ask.

"Ask me," the woman said, accepting Dizen's favor.

Dizen breathed a deep sigh before he start to ask questions. "What are you doing last night? I mean, why did you do that?"

"What?" The girl reacted the unexpected way.

Dizen just gave gim a shoulder shrug.

"You know, it's none of your business!" She turned and quickly walked away.

But Dizen don't let that happen so he stood up and chase after the woman and once he reached her hand, he blocked its way and spread his arms in front of the girl.

The thing that he's not expected to happen, happened.

The woman insisted and pushed Dizen to stay away from her sight but their feet stumbled together so they lost their balance and as expected... like what happen in romantic story where the guy and the girl will fall down but the guy will catch the girl, hugged her tight and they will stare at each other while lying down the floor-- and that's what literally happened.

Cut that romantic background music and slow motion effect they imagined for now they realized how awkward and cringe their position was. Dizen pushed away the girl with his surprised yet amused eyes. The woman cursed Dizen for her forehead was badly hurt because it hit hard the floor.

"What's wrong with you?" The girl complained, touching her forehead. "How dare you pushed a woman like that?"

"S-Sorry, I didn't mean to--" Right before he finished his sentence, the girl interrupted him.

"You're unbelievable." The woman stood up for the n'th time, planning to run away.

"Wait!" But Dizen stopped him again.

"What?" she asked, narrowing her eyes as if consuming her little patience smartly.

"You didn't answer my question." Dizen looked her straight in the eyes, not knowing that the girl will break their distance in between.

"You really want to know the reason?" She is now an inch closer to Dizen's face.

"Yes." Dizen nodded, he closed his lips when he realized he breathed the woman's face. God, he didn't brush his teeth yet but it seemed the woman weren't bothered by that.

"I was broke." The woman started so Dizen was all surprised yet ready to hear what she's going to say.

Dizen remained silent, looking at the girl's amusing eyes.

"I have nowhere to go." The woman continued, taking away her eyes and threw it on the other direction. "My family hates me. All I am thinking last night is that... if I wouldn't be able to survive this life... I mean having a stable life, money and wealth so that my family would be wronged about me that I'm just a burden, worthless, has no direction in life and so they won't wish to not have me born in this world. If I am not going to be like that, nothing will change. I am still that black sheep daughter they wish they never make, so I just decided to end my life even if it's a sin."

"Oh." Dizen's response towards the long story of the woman. To be honest, he just doesn't know how to react when he heard that personal matters. It's his first time to hear some serious story from a girl he met so he was stunned in the moment.

After some mere seconds, he finally came to think of words he would say but he cleared his throat first before saying that and atleast, to ease his nervousness as well. "I get it now. That's why you're here, still alive and didn't die on that intentional suicide act. I'm thankful that you chose my car to bump yourself," he said in a monotonous way of talking.

"What are you saying?" The woman asked as expected because Dizen's words are pretty confusing.

The young man paused, took a one step backward and looked down, "I can give you what you want."

"What?" The woman replied, watching as Dizen raised its face to stare at her again.

"You need money, right? To survive?" How Dizen wished the woman is not offended about the truth he said.

But seems like it's not as the woman started to give her words again with forbearance. "Yes, I want money but I don't want to work. I want to marry a rich old man who soon dies not a young man like you... but it seems like it's impossible to happen so just let me die. Uhm, can I jump at the rooftop of your house?"

Her question made Dizen's eyes grew bigger, couldn't help himself thinking that maybe this girl is crazy or mentally ill but he did his best to be not obvious that he is somewhat cluttered.

Dizen began giving his words, "But I am rich... and I will die soon... I mean, I can die for you."

"Stop joking about death, it's not funny." Woman's face started to have some shits drawn all over it or should we say, her aura were all ruined because of that stupid joke about death but once she regain her senses, she continued. "I know you don't like a woman like me, you can get nothing from me. I'm just a poor girl."

"I'm not kidding. I'm serious," Dizen argued.

"In what part you're serious?" The woman was a little annoyed till now, she turned her back.

"Come on. You know, I will not make you my slave... you just need to be with me like..." Dizen walked from behind and stood in front of the girl so he will earn her attention.

"Like what?" The lady asked, still confused yet having a hint now where this talk will go.

"Like what lovers do," Dizen said with no hesitation.

The woman gaped, he chuckled silently and it was all air in her laughs, "Wait, don't tell me you will rent me as your--"

"Girlfriend..." Dizen interjected, "lover or maybe my wife."

"Wife your ass!" she shouted at the man's face, "I won't!" she emphasized, turning her back again and trying to leave.

"One million for the first month," Dizen's words that made the woman stopped.

"What? Really?" The woman asked, confirming if she heard it right.

Dizen just smirked, "Wait..."

She watched the young man giving her some gestures to stay on where she is standing and wait for him to come back. She watched Dizen who's just finished writing something on a piece of paper he took out from his little drawer near bed.

"Here's the cheque, one million." He handed the paper over the girl's hand then threw her a questions, "Is it enough for your first month salary?"

The woman didn't think of any words to say but she said what she felt to be said, "Will you send the half of it to my family?"

"Your answer first." Dizen's assuring everything is under control.

The woman closed her eyes, breathed a sigh before saying, "Okay. I'll accept your offer."

And that's what Dizen is waiting to hear. He almost clapped and jumped because of boy but he just decided to keep it at the back of his mind.

"Alright! I'll send the money right away, just give me the account number of your mother, your sister, or..."

"Okay, can I borrow your phone?" The woman asked with no reticence.

"You don't have phone?" Dizen was surprised, of course, well who the hell on Earth don't have a cellphone nowadays? People usually have phones. Now, he doubt if she's really a human or an alien.

"I have. But I already sold it last night for alcohol," the woman lend over her hand, waiting for Dizen to let her borrow its phone.

Dizen was about to give the phone and the woman was about to get it when the boy thought of something. What if she called the police and tell them she was kidnapped? That's what Dizen is thinking right now but he just chose to trust the girl, in the end.

"Here." Dizen gave the phone.

"Thanks." The woman smiled, a creepy smile.

"You done?" Dizen said this for so many times as he was nervous and worried about the thing he thought but when he asked it for the first time, he finally got an answer.

"Yeah. She will send it later. Just wait." The woman returned the phone, smiling that gave Dizen creep.

But when he felt that everything is fine, he shook his head to erase those nonsense thoughts, "Okay, let's get going."

"What? Where?" The woman asked, confused for the second time around.

"Church, cause I'm gonna marry you?" Dizen's another failed joke.

"Fuck." The woman acted like she was disgusted by the words.

"Kidding aside. We'll go to the mall and shop all you want."

"All I want?"

"Yes, you heard it right."

In the middle of their conversation, they heard a strange voice coming from the outside of the bedroom saying, "Dizen! Dizen, my man... where the hell are you?"

"Is that your father?" The woman asked, her eyes widened.

Dizen realized whose voice is that so he said, "Hell no!"

"Oh, there you are! I'm hungry, have you eaten breakfast?" It was Celo, his best friend who got awakened and entered his room just now.

"Who are you?" Celo asked when his eyes went to the girl Dizen is talking to. "Hey, Dizen! Who's this girl?"

"Are you stupid?" Dizen frowned, "She's the girl we brought last night!"

"Ah... that girl. She's so messed up last night, she looks different now, huh? Clean and much neater and better." Celo started to remember her and the accident happened last night.

"You're rude, you know. Do you usually talk to girls like that?" The woman was a little bit pissed off of what Celo said.

"Oh, man. Let me hide behind you, she's so scary." Celo's still teasing the woman.

"I didn't know you have an idiot friend like him," the woman rolled her eyes in disappointment.

"Man, she's so mean. Are you sure you don't want to kick her out of your house?" Celo hold Dizen's like a child begging for his mother to go home.

Dizen slapped Celo's forehead and said, "She'll really kick your balls if you don't shut your damn mouth."

"Yeah, he's right." The woman echoed.

"Anyways, Celo we're going to the mall today." Dizen's changed the topic before it gets messier.

"And?" Celo's waiting for what Dizen will say next.

"We will help her buy her needs." Dizen looked at the girl to let Celo know whom he is pertaining to.

Celo's face became crumpled, "You will spoiled her like you're her sugar daddy?"

"Bro, you surely have problem with your language." Dizen gave him the look saying that he should stop saying nonsense.

"Chill. I'll help." Celo smiled at his best friend to calm him and also he did a peace sign to the woman.

Dizen took a deep breath and then started to make another new conversation, "By the way, this is Celo, my best friend. I'm Dizen and it's our pleasure to meet you."

"It's not my pleasure." Celo's eyes narrowed, looking at the girl's eyes.

"Bro, shut up. Just shake her hand." Dizen saw that so he stopped his friend.

The two boys stared at the woman after the handshake, waiting for something.

So the woman asked: "What? Do I have to reply something?"

"Your name." Dizen's replying apace.

"Dumb, can't introduce properly." Celo thought the woman never heard what he said but he's wrong because that wasn't a whisper.

"Bro, shh... you're talking loud, she might hear you." Dizen warned him for the last time but they stopped arguing when the woman finally said its name.

"El..." the woman stuttered, "E-Eli, just call me Eli."
