I was worried. Very worried about what would happen to me.

A week went by and there was no sign or word from Adrean. The mistress didn't pay much attention because she thought of him as being busy. I didn't want to tell her about what had happened, because I knew how she would mistreat me. Selling me off at a cheaper price to more than three men was one of the things she would do to punish me.
