Nadia POV
I woke up to a whole new wave of pain, my hand instinctively went to my lower abdomen to feel the bandage that was carefully placed on my Tommy, it fucking hurt.
I looked up to see that Scarlett was sitting by my side, her expression was a mixture of happiness and gloominess. Now that was not what I was expecting to see, especially since we all have been excitedly waiting to see the babies.
I too wasn't exactly happy and the reason is not far-fetched, I expected Lorenzo to be here when I wake up since I didn't see him all through last night. My mind went back to how I walked in on Vicenzo in the waiting area what was he doing there and why was he covered Scarlett was not exactly looking at me, she didn't know I was awake, I tried sitting up and noticed my Tommy was hurting badly, that was when she shifted her gaze back to me.
