Chapter two

"I am telling you, being in a relationship is better than just playing girls." Derek said.

It was the same argument with him everytime. And right now it started because I was checking out the new girl that started at my gym. I made him a bet that I would have her in my bed before the week ends.

"Nope. Why should I stick to just one girl when I have plenty of girls that want me? In a way I am only being fair." I said.

"How is what your doing fair?" He asked with confusion.

"If I stay with just one girl, I am depriving other girls of me so I have to be fair by being with all of them."

Derek just looked at me and rolled his eyes. "You're a sick man."

"Hey, I'm a sick sexy man. You always forget the sexy."

"I don't forget it." He said with a smirk.

I smacked him on the arm and turned my attention back to the lady who I saw yesterday who was now running on the thread mill.

She caught me staring at her and gave a little smile. Then I knew I had her. Girls always smile at me when they want me.

I smirked back at her but instead of approaching me, she just looked away. She was literally the first girl to not get attracted to my smirk. Maybe she was one of those girls who played 'hard-to-get'

"Stop staring at her dude. You are freaking her out." Derek said.

I just rolled my eyes. "I'll go talk to her right now. I am sure I'll get a date."

"Okay then." He answered sarcastically.

"Just wait and see." I said and walked up to her with plenty confidence.

"Hi. I am Tony Caraballo. Owner of the gym. But you can call me Ballo." I said smoothly, a grin on my face.

"I am Camilla Rúiz." She replied with a small smile. She had a really thick latina accent.

"Nice to meet you, Camilla. So I was wondering if I can get your number and call you sometime."

She dropped the dumbbells she was using and moved closer to me.

"Oh, honey. It's gonna take a whole lot more than that for you to get my number." She said. The statement hit me like a huge blow. I have never, never been rejected before!

"Playing hard to get, huh?" I said with a smirk on my face.

"No, I am not just an easy woman. Like the ones who are staring at you right now." She said pointing to women who were in fact staring at me. I smirked cooly at them and turned back to face her.

"Well at least let me take you to—" she held up her hand to silence me.

"If you don't mind, I'd like to get back to my work out."

I walked away with my pride all battered and bruised. I have never in my life been rejected by any girl in my entire.

When I got to where Derek was standing, he was laughing his head off!

"For the first time ever, little Ballo's charm didn't work." He said and kept laughing whilst I was getting fucking pissed.

"You have problems man. Besides, she didn't reject me. She's just playing hard to get. She'll come around, they always do."

"Dude, she gave you the 'don't talk to me hand'."

"The what?"

"Welcome to the world of rejection. You'll get use to it." He said still laughing.

I pushed him hard and walked past him to my office. I was really pissed and I needed a bottle of Jack Daniels to calm me down.

How the fuck do I, Tony Caraballo get rejected like it just doesn't happen.

I looked out the window and saw her walking away to her car. She was most definitely going to pay for this.

I will make her fall in love with me, get her in my bed and break her heart! Nobody, rejects Ballo and gets away with it.

"Dude, chill out. You're hyperventilating again." Derek said.

"I'll mess her up, you'll see." I said through gritted teeth and stormed out.

Derek's POV

As I watched Ballo walk out of the gym, I sighed knowing a storm was coming. Ballo had really bad anger issues and it was worst when his big ego was bruised.

He'd gotten into a lot of trouble because of his temper and he's been to three different court ordered anger management classes. It all started when his parents died, he's just been a very angry boy. And we've both seen a lot of shit in this life but we stuck together.

Which was why I didn't like to see him this way, worst when he said he'd ruin Camilla. I knew he'd do it.  A storm was coming and I knew I would be in the middle of it.

Oh, brother.
