Chapter 4

Before entering the Seven Sins Luxurious Hotel, Carnation took a deep breath. She has come to accept Mr. Lust's job offer.

"Good afternoon," she said as she greeted the receptionist.

"Good afternoon, Ma'am, how may I assist you?" asked the receptionist.

"Ah, how do I get to Casa de Lujuria?" The hotel is enormous, and she doubts she will be able to locate the facility on her own right away. She must speak with Mr. Lust as soon as possible.

"Ma'am, do you have an invitation pass?"

"Oh, yes! Here." Carnation presented the invitation card she was holding. The receptionist smiled at her and excused herself, saying she would just call on the service phone. The receptionist then made her sit in the lounge area, telling her that someone would pick her up in the lobby.

A beautiful and tall woman approached Carnation a moment later, and she immediately stood up.

"Hi!" she said with a smile as she greeted the woman. The woman looks like Mr. Lust's driver who appears to have a foreign blood—not to mention they look alike. Now Carnation wonders who this beautiful lady is.

"Are you Carnation?" She smiled and nodded to the woman. "My name is Mist, and Mr. Lust has assigned me to give you a tour of Casa de Lujuria."

"But I came here to talk to Mr. Lust... not for a tour," her voice moved from page to page as she said the last three words when Mist's one eyebrow rose.

"What do you think of my brother, a friend you can talk to whenever you want?" Mist asked steadily, one hand on her waist.

"I-I didn't mean—"

"I don't have much time to waste. Let's go!" Mist turned her back on her. Carnation could only follow the woman who led the way to the elevator at the far end of the lobby.

There are five elevators in the hotel lobby. Two are on the right side of the reception area, while the other two are on the opposite side of the reception area, near the garden entrance. The fifth, which stands out due to its black and gold colour theme, like the invitation card Carnation was holding, is the one in front of her and Mist now.

"Give it to me," Mist said and held out her hand in front of her.

Carnation looked surprised at the woman's palm. "Wha-what?"

"The card you're holding," Mist replied, looking so bored. Carnation exclaimed in surprise when she realized what Mist was asking of her. She handed over the card she was holding to her immediately.

"This is not your typical invitation card. Because of this. . ." Mist showed her the black card. "You don't have to be a member to enter Casa de Lujuria." Mist use the elevator scanner to scan the back of the card, then the golden elevator opened only after the device scanned the microchip on the invitation card.

"The microchip of this card stores a digital pattern that the elevator's door mechanism accepts before disengaging the lock. Using this type of security the uninvited guest can't easily get through the nightclub," Mist explained to Carnation, who was astounded.

"Wow! It's really high-tech," Carnation exclaimed as she and Mist entered the elevator, she examined the four side wall. Inside the elevator, the colors are gold and black, which are similar to the colors seen outside. This was probably the theme of Casa de Lujuria, gold and black, Carnation though.

Carnation was astonished when, instead of the front door, the wall behind her and Mist opened—the elevator's second door. When she finally saw the inside of the Casa de Lujuria, her lips parted in surprise. The nightclub's dance floor greeted them as soon as they exited the elevator. Carnation now understands why the security below is so tight; the elevator serves as the casa's gate or entrance.  The nightclub has a very luxurious and classy ambiance. The theme of Casa de Lujuria, like the invitation card and elevator, is black and gold; the dance floor, bar counter, and lounge area are black and gold. Except for the club lights and alcoholic beverages on the bar counter rack.

"Obviously, that is the dance floor. Of course, there's the bar and regular tables for regular customers." Mist pointed out the various bar areas one by one. "And there's the VIP section," she added, pointing to the second floor. "The VIP section has its own bar, so VIP customers don't have to go downstairs to get drinks."

“Wow! I feel like I'm in a movie,” Carnation exclaimed. She was like a child who had just visited Disneyland for the first time. "Casa de Lujuria is simply breathtaking. Now I'm curious how it feels to work in such a classy environment."

Mist chuckled. "You're the only person I've met who is thrilled about working here. Come on, we're going upstairs."

Gold and black are the only colors in the VIP section, as they are on the first floor of the nightclub. Mist let her admire and tour the second floor while the woman talked on her cellphone. Carnation discovered a balcony while walking around and went out to see the hotel's rooftop pool, which she was even more surprised to see.

"Isn't this hotel amazing?" Carnation smiled. She turned to Mist, who was already standing behind her— she didn't notice the woman approaching her.

"This place was owned by my brother and his friends. They couldn't agree on the design of the hotel at first; Pride wanted the landscape and gardens to fill the area around the hotel. Meanwhile, Wrath desired a large pool that looked like a real beach.” Mist smiled as she approached and grasped the balcony railings.

"Fortunately, Greed is intelligent; he has discovered a way to satisfy both Pride and Wrath."

"Yes, clearly! The landscape and garden below are incredibly beautiful; there are various plants and flowers, as well as butterflies," with a big smile, Carnation said. She peered beneath them. "The pool on the 10th floor is indeed beautiful; it resembles the white beach of Boracay," Carnation added.  The rooftop pool of the hotel is an artificial beach, complete with sand, rocks, and coconut trees, and it truly resembles a white beach.

Mist and Carnation made their way back into the nightclub. Carnation assumed the woman was going to drink because she approached the round bar counter, but they simply turned to walk around. There is a door with a mechanism similar to what she saw in the elevator at the far end of the VIP section—on the right if coming from the casa's balcony. But, unlike in the elevator, Mist opened the door with a pink card.

“Let’s go!”

"Miss Mist," Carnation called out  and restrained Mist by grabbing the woman's elbow. "Will I still make it out alive here?" she worries.

Mist was stunned, and burst out laughing. "What are you thinking?" she asked, and laughed again. "Sweetheart, take a deep breath... I'm just a human resources manager, not a serial killer."

The woman gave her a friendly smile. "You're in good hands with me. Now, let's get going."

Carnation did nothing but let Mist pull her inside. She assumed they were entering a room, but it was just a passage. A colorful passage with blue and pink LED lights attached to both sides of the ceiling, and the walls are made of glass so Carnation can see herself and the fear on her face.

When they got to the end of the passage, they noticed a pink and blue elevator. There is no other door or path visible in the area besides the elevator. Carnation was even more nervous, unsure whether she should flee or trust the woman she had just met. But she hasn't yet accomplished her goal for coming here; she needs to speak with Mr. Lust!

Mist still used the pink card to enter the elevator. Carnation hoped that, like the outside of the elevator, the inside would be pink and blue, but she was mistaken once more. Because it was gold and black on the inside, just like the first elevator.

"It's the same elevator we used earlier," Mist said as she noticed Carnation looking at the wall and ceiling.

"I was aware of it. But why do we need to use a secret passage?" she asked Mist curiously.

"Because the next place we're going to isn't open to the public." Mist showed the card in her hand. "In the casa, there are four types of keycards, and the black keycard you have is the lowest type of all."

"Remember how I said there was a digital pattern stored on the card's microchip? The saved data on the microchip includes the door that it can only open." Mist showed her the keycards again, the black on the right hand and the pink on the left.

"The elevator will automatically take you to the first floor of the casa if you use the black keycard. The elevator will automatically take you to the second floor of the casa if you use the pink keycard."

"What about the remaining two keycards?"

"I'll explain later." The elevator door opened, and Carnation was once again astonished by what she saw.
