Kate POV

            As I walked toward our large conference meeting room, I could hear some of the Alphas had already arrived.  Walking into the room, I looked around taking in who was in attendance so far and nodding as I made my way into the room.  I stopped to speak with a couple Alphas making small talk.  We had two Alphas who were a little more old school than the other four who were more progressive.

            The old school Alphas had an opinion that a female should not become the Alpha to a Pack.  The other three had been supportive up to this point and I anticipate Alpha Boyd will be equally supportive.
