Chapter 23

STELLA

The next few weeks go by with no problems. Axel had sent Benjamin out of the territory on some business for the pack. I continued to go to college, however; I started wearing the skirts Axel asked me to wear with some new blouses. I was still a little self-conscious of Axel’s mark and how everyone reacted whenever they saw it, so I always made sure that for now, my blouse covered it.

After I say goodbye to Sophie, I head back to the packhouse as Axel and I have now been mated for a month. He wants to take me out for dinner and dancing like on our first date. I enter our floor as Axel now insists it is and head for his office as I do every day after college.

I go in to say hi, let him know I am back and maybe steal a kiss or two or maybe something more if we have time and we don’t get interrupted. He surprised me the first time he did it and I now know the real reason behind him wanting me to wear skirts or dresses.

Now, it had absolutely nothing to do with me becoming a wolf
