As everyone steps out of the trees behind me and stops by my side, I take one more step and say just under a yell,

"Father, I have come to challenge you... The throne is now mine by choice of all the Alphas in our kingdom, but you still have something that belongs to me..."

"You are not King yet son... I accept your challenge..."

I see him smirk and just know that I am not going to like what he is about to say,

"So you are her mate... But you are too late. She already belongs to another..."

I then see Toby smile and know that he managed to talk my father into giving ownership of Aurora to him but I also know that he probably no longer has ownership of her either, selling her to one of the Alpha Kings that he had come to see her. Magnus and I growl anyway, saying,
