Jennet shook her head, "No, I don't want any take-outs. I want to eat your home-cooked meals and I want it now. I am too hungry and I feel I could eat an entire gazelle." She held her stomach when she said that. She was already hungry when they landed in the country.
Hue, with a long face, walked out of the room and entered the kitchen. He opened the fridge but, it was empty."Honey, we're out of food!" he shouted."Then, go to the supermarket and buy some. Get the wallet from me!" his wife shouted back from the room upstairs.Hue made another tour upstairs and took the wallet from her. Before he left the room, he asked, "Are you going to be fine alone or do you want to come along?" His face brightened when he mentioned 'come along'.Jennet shook her head as a low grunt escaped her mouth. "Nope, I'm too tired and too hungry. Don't worry about me. I'll sleep while waiting for you. But, come back as fast as you can." Then, she dove into the"Oh gosh, something's moving inside!" she clamoured in terror when she felt and saw little movements appearing on the surface of her skin. She had no idea if those were the twins' heads, hands or feet.As she focused on the little movements, she, somehow, felt happy while being scared. The feeling she had was indescribable. She laughed alone. Then, she turned her face towards her husband. "Honey," she said, "t-this is terrifying and, and I...I'm about to pass out..." she slurred in her words before her eyes rolled up and her face was drained out of colours.Hue shrieked in terror as he leapt forward and caught her heavy body from collapsing to the cold floor....A few hours later, Jennet woke up on the bed, fully dressed. Her body smelt nice too. While she passed out, her husband helped to wipe her body. She gazed down but her sight was blocked by the mountain of her belly that had gotten even bigger than earlier.
Kith beamed after she said that. Oh, she did want to visit Fantasy Realm, he thought and that was good news.Hue had lost his cool when he heard what his wife had said. His face turned dark and his unhappy feeling had reached beyond the maximum level. On the other hand, Jennet wished very hard for Little Veen to appear before her as she couldn't handle the stress that stem from the trouble that was broiled before her.Her wish came true when clouds of mist appeared and formed a figure. The figure transformed into a boy with an expressionless face. It was the first time Jennet saw the transformation in live, and she was awestruck."Little Veen!" Her mood brightened. She let go of everything in her hands, including Kith. The silver head slipped from the chair and he went 'ow, ow' all the way down until his body kissed the floor. Little Vella teared up again and she ran to him and helped get him back on the chair.Jennet,
Horan sat before two other gods which were God of Marriage and God of Birth. The three of them were having a meeting in a floating garden in the sky.The sight of them grouping was a heavenly view as they were all handsome. No words could describe their good look. Even their shadows were dazzling to gaze at. Horan pushed the golden nameplate to the centre of the table. Then, he leaned back in his seat as his eyes shifted between the two men before him."So, what is your opinion on this?" he began. "Should we approve or decline the entry as I cannot make the decision alone because it was the both of you who blessed them."Keith, God of Birth and Erion, God of Marriage looked at the golden plate on the table. Seconds later, they exchanged glances with each other."We are, only, following the Emperor's command," Keith replied. He inhaled deeply as he began again, "...and we are certain that he would grant them permission to enter this world
Kith broke into a wide smile, showing his perfectly lined teeth. "Honey, I'm only making sure that it's you who have that desire. Don't worry, we will protect all three of you and I am sure your husband would say the same, too.""Well, whatever. I'm not in the mood to talk with you." Jennet closed her eyes and rested her head on the sofa head.Kith went mum when the woman coldly cut him off. The woman was being so rude...and he knew it wasn't her intention to act like that. The silver-haired man was petrified when he saw Hue walk in with a basket of laundry perched on his hip."Are you in your housekeeping mode right now?" he asked in disbelief. He came to discuss something with Hue but, that man was already in his flowery headband, carrying a laundry basket.Hue exhaled heavily. "This is my daily routine, and you don't have to worry about me. You should worry about my wife and kids' health." He gestured towards his resting wife.
The next day came sooner than expected, and Jennet was in the living room, sitting on pins and needles."Are we going to leave soon?" she asked when her husband appeared from the kitchen, holding a bowl of pumpkin soup. She had been fidgeting since she knew she had to leave for Fantasy Realm."Yes," Hue answered softly as he took his place beside her. He gave her a sweet smile to assure her that everything would be fine. However, his wife wasn't as happy as he thought. "How soon?" Jennet asked. Her anxious eyes gazed deeply at him as she waited for a response.Hue exhaled deeply. He placed the soup bowl on the table, took her hands and squeezed them. "Tomorrow..."Jennet's face sank. The news was disheartening. "That's too soon..." Disappointment danced in her wavering tone.Hue tilted his head while he eyed her and replied, "Kith told me that you will be giving birth the day after tomorrow, so we have to be there by tomorrow. I
Delton said nothing. He took out a vial from the pouch. Holding it out, he directed a question at her. "What is this?"Susan eyed the vial. Then, she eyed him. "A cure to the poison that Alana drank," she answered calmly.Delton smiled. He put the vial back into the pouch. "You're too kind," he said. "Shouldn't you say, you have no cure?" A sinister tone mingled in his voice Susan inhaled deeply. She understood the malice in his tone. Then, she responded, "I have no intention to add more bad deeds into my account. Plus, someone like you knows best that it isn't nice to hurt others let alone to have the thought of doing it.""Well said," Delton replied with a smile. "Very well, thank you for your kind assistance. We will do the rest." He tossed the pouch into a small black hole that warp in the air.Susan nodded and she disappeared from the chair. Then, Delton disappeared seconds later....Back at the villa of the Hedo Coup
The day of the departure arrived at last, and Jennet was still asleep when the day came. She woke up from her slumber when she heard a loud bang from the outside of her room. No, the sound came from outside the villa! She lifted her head and squinted her eyes. Everything around her was bright as it was already the day. Then, she glanced to her side and found the spot beside her was empty. "Hue?" she called out for her husband. At the same moment, she spotted a few black figures flying outside the window. She flinched on the bed. Then, she hurried up, scooted to the corner of the bed and held the blanket close to her erratic chest. Her eyes widened in fear when she saw the figures appearing at the window again. "Hue!!" she screamed her husband's name. One of the mysterious and hooded dark figures, stopped when it heard her scream. It veered around slowly and saw her in the room. It flew closer to the window and peered inside, looking straight at her face. Jennet broke down into c
Horan was sitting leisurely on the chair, enjoying a cup of tea, when a message popped on the wall inside the Immigration Hall. The cup slipped through his fingers and shattered into millions of tiny sparkles in mid-air."Oh my..." he heaved a sigh. "They are coming earlier than expected," he whispered. Then, he, without averting his eyes from the wall, flicked his fingers. The shattered sparkles regrouped and returned to their normal form, then, they returned to his hand. 'My snails are going to go crazy...' he mumbled inwardly as he took a sip from the cup.Just as he surmised, the hall was in murmurs. At first, it was only whisperings, but as time passed, the whispering became louder as the snails started to talk among each other."They're finally here!!" One among the snails screamed as if the world would end. Following the scream, the other snails started to burst into tears and some of them wailed in fear. The Immigration Department was in chaos!Horan sighed deeply. He stood up
