Chapter 25

"Painful Punishment."

These were the only two words that were utterly registered in her brain. She was shocked and her body went to flight mode. She didn't know what to do or how to react. All she knew was to run away.

Madly she tried to pull her wrists away but his iron grip didn't help her much rather he smirked looking at her helplessness. She was frightened and her tears made their way out of her eyes.

"Please... Please.... I don't know....let me... Go...". She started begging in her pleading voice but all fell on his deaf ears. He laughed dryly looking at her face and situation.

When Samantha told him to kill Iris, he thought to snap Samantha's head but that would be igniting the old flame of war again. Somehow they chose this peace treaty which he couldn't let go of easily no matter what. Killing a witch would be his last option for sure.

"Shhh... They are just questions sweetheart. Be a good girl and answer them properly." Leonard brought his face near her to speak and Iris
