Special Chapter: The First Words

Third Person’s POV

Time flew by pretty quickly, and baby Laura is now a year old. Being an exceptional baby, she quickly developed the skills of a toddler, even as an infant. At a year old, she can already walk and write basic letters. She can even hum a tune!

However, what is strange among all of these, is that she hasn’t uttered her first words yet. There were plenty of times when it felt like she was finally going to say her first words, but she sure does know how to play push-and-pull.

Since everybody’s anticipating her first words, they’ve placed bets among themselves on what her first words are going to be.

The group of friends was sitting on the floor in the living room. Along with them were Arlo, Devyn, and the grandparents.

Crassus slammed his foot down the floor and intimidatingly looked at all of them.

“I’m telling you right now. Laura’s first words will be ‘mama.’ It will always be ‘mama.’ Every other child that I’ve known
