Chapter 75
ALIA
Gavin and I walked back to the ballroom after our little tryst. As much as we wanted to just continue what we were doing, we know we had a responsibility to show ourselves to our guests.
"Alia!" I turned around and saw Andrea rushing towards us, she was grinning and beaming at us happily.
"Andrea!" I let go of Gavin´s hand and flung my arms open before pulling her for a big hug. "I missed you!" I squeezed her, excitement brewing in me. "How you´ve been? Oh my Goddess, look at you! All ladylike now!"
She laughed, then spun around giddily while grasping the hem of her skirt. I giggled back softly, but my gaze was drawn away to my brother, who was standing on the opposite side of the ballroom, watching at us, his mouth twisting into a pleasant smile. I had never seen Caspian smile so adoringly before, and I was convinced he missed having Andrea around.
