Chapter 77. Christmas Special
20 months after the Beta Union Ceremony
ALIA
It was Christmas Eve, and we were all gathered at the packhouse dining hall for Christmas Dinner. Since the Luna had experienced Christmases while living with humans, she had made it a tradition for us to celebrate the holiday as well. And since the Alpha's family was also observing the occasion, we had no problem making it big this year.
Mom and Dad were here. So were David, Luna Clair and Aaron's father, and Caspian, who came with his mate.
The table was alive with conversations, and I couldn't help but be overwhelmed by the abundance of love in this place. It used to be just me, Caspian, and my father over a special dinner, and seeing everyone around me now made tears well up in my eyes.
Only one thing was missing, but I couldn't bring myself to ask or beg the Goddess for it.
