It’s hard to find the right person in this world. But it's harder to let that once right person go. It just rips your soul apart. It haunts you in silence and frustration. You just can’t believe that the dream has become a nightmare. You look for excuses to keep it going somehow. You ignore the red flags. You move past those mini heartbreaks. You even compromise on your self-respect. All in hope that things will change for the better. But things don’t get better. Things get worse. The other person realizes that you won’t leave no matter what. And your loyalty is played against you. You are given more shit because you have taken shit before. Your emotional weakness will be used against you. That person will know exactly what to do to break your spirit. And you will stay with a smile on your face, but tears running down your soul. It happens. It happens to almost all of us. So I am not saying you are an idiot. I am just saying we all become an idiot for an idiot we loved too much.
