Chapter 32

Alessio:

I ran my finger over Kiara’s arm as she laid on my chest trying to keep herself awake.

“You know, you’re making it a lot harder for me to stay awake, Alessio” she commented. I chuckled tightening my arms around her and pulling her closer to me, softly kissing her temple.

“I never said that you couldn’t sleep though” I said gently and Kiara raised herself on my chest. She looked me in the eye and I ran my finger over her jawline, softly resting it on her chin making her smile.

“Yes, you didn’t, but we need to go and see how Natasha is at the hospital. She just gave birth, and need I remind you that it wasn’t easy or normal” Kiara reminded and I nodded. She was right, I had kept my phone on loud in case anyone called for any issues, thankfully no one did. But we still needed to go and see how things were going, how Natasha and her baby were, and what the next procedures would go.
