"Some more bread?" Nathan was about to serve her another slice in the plate and Kyara glared at him in such a way that if looks could kill he would have been buried six feet under.
Nathan placed back the slice in the serving bowl. No words were spoken between them for the rest of the day.

By the time Kyara got up from the bed neither Asher nor Nathan were sleeping. It was the cold evening almost dark with roaring thunder and pour out of rain just two days before the date of their marriage. Such an untimely shower, Kyara reflexed. Her intution was hinting something dangerous was about to happen. Nathan sent her a car to have the night's dinner with his parents. He would be joining them soon coming directly from office as work was heavy. The baby was already with the Johnsons. Kyara locked the door of the flower shop and was about to get into the car when a black Porsche suddenly came out of nowhere and a man sitting inside the car pulled her inside.
