One Hundred-Eleven


I can't make any sense of what he is saying, but I knew that his words had a lot of meaning behind them. The next time Wes pulled back, I looked into his emerald eyes and see so many emotions I don't know what to make of them. I step back out of his arms and then run; he doesn't stop me this time and I don't stop until I am home. All afternoon and throughout the night, I couldn't get his kisses and his touch out of my head. He even entered my dreams, making me wake up all hot and sweaty.

We have the next day off from school as it is closed due to the celebration. I do something that I have never done, and that is, stay in bed. I don't want to see anyone as I try to understand why I feel for Wes the way that I do, because I haven't known him for that long. But I should have known I wouldn't get the day to myself because at around lunch, my mother knocks on the doorframe to the bedroom and says,
