I followed until I reached the door and Malik joined me there. As I watch her continue to back away from me, I notice the guards and hold up my hand, telling them to stop and back off, to leave her be. Malik had looked at me then, mind linking me, saying,

With Malik's words in my head, I took a step out into the hall planning on going after her, but as I look at her and see the hurt I just caused in her eyes, I stop; she shakes her head and then runs off again.
