Two Hundred-Thirty-Five

Again he places the tray on my lap before removing the cover and saying,

“I spoke to Ava, and she said you should be alright for a light lunch and the same goes for dinner until your hormones settle. Ava also said that she will stay for as long as you want her here.”

I smile at this. I remember how much of a good friend Ava came to be before we left Malik’s castle. Zachariah then allows me to eat. Once I have finished everything on the tray, I move it to the side and climb out of bed. I go into the bathroom and use the toilet and then have a shower.

As much as I want to get into my training clothes, I refrain and slip back into a night dress and cover it with a dressing gown. Then, instead of getting back in bed, I go and find Zachariah.
