By the time we returned to join everyone, I had noticed most of the event had winded up. However, the ground is still crowded as everyone seems to be enjoying just mingling with each other.

The fundraiser was successful. All thanks to the manwhores of the club. We have already surpassed our initial goal but kept raising our bar because the more amount we raised, the more difference we could make.

For me, even after everything, the event was a success. However, I would have appreciated it if it had gone without any glitch.

I catch Monica's worried gaze, but tension lifts off her shoulders when I smile at her reassuringly.

Jarek is really caring, even way more than before. I know he is just trying to make up for his actions, and if this makes him happy, I wouldn't complain.
